Coldplay 'nervous' over UK return Coldplay will bring their tour to an end at Wembley Stadium Coldplay frontman Chris Martin has revealed the band was "really nervous" about playing the UK leg of its world tour, which started on Saturday. The group played its first UK gig of this year at Manchester's Old Trafford Cricket Ground. "It feels like we have been away for a long time. The four of us were feeling really nervous about coming back home," Martin said. Their Viva La Vida tour began in June 2008 and will wrap up on 19 September. In June it was announced that rapper Jay-Z and Girls Aloud will both appear at Coldplay's final tour dates at Wembley Stadium. Martin said the crowd of 50,000 had "given us a better reception than we could possibly have asked for". He added: "It is a bit like when Stefan Dennis went back to Neighbours - he didn't know what the reaction would be. The band closed the show with Life In Technicolour II, and gig-goers were handed a free live album as they left the arena. Of course this is good news for the Israelis, but I just wish that th boys would stop touring after maybe earlier next year? Keep on touring until May next year is pushing it a bit too far IMO.

VLV video is really really bad. If they ever win, that'll tell us that there were no good video for this year. I love Coldplay, but I hate this video.

In parachutes they have lines about living in a bubble in both Trouble (But here am I in my little bubble) and High Speed (We've been living life inside a bubble). Not exactly the same though.
