Ok. I have a Youtube video downloader, and I downloaded the Idiot video that was recorded live in 2001. After I did that, I have a way of taking out the video, and just making an audio track. Well, I hate the quality of it... The drums are way too loud, and I can barely hear the guitar. Does anyone know where I can get a better quality version of the song? It can be from Youtube, or not. It doesn't matter. Thanks!
  6. I'm not sure what I should say about the article. He is bashing on Coldplay, but at the same time, he's defending them in a way. But, what really pisses me off is that he say's Coldplay is "not orignal" and "predictable", numerous times throught the article. Coldplay is original. They don't sound like everyone else. I actually think other bands aren't original. I hear ALOT of Coldplay references in Alternative Pop music on the radio today. And I know they got their infulence from Coldplay because these artists haven't been around as long as Coldplay has. (9 years... wow!) Anyway, I'm not saying Coldplay is COMPLETLEY original. Besides, one of Chris Martin's influences is Travis, who came out in 1996... But I still think Coldplay is 95% original.
  7. "She's Leaving Home" by The Beatles
  8. Ok. Without looking up the chords, guess the Coldplay song by the chords I put down below. Whoever guesses it, continues the game. Okay. Eb, Bbm, Fm
  9. OMG! I was just about to make a thread about that, but you beat me to it! Hahahaha! ;)
  10. I think it would be cool to make a Coldplay RockBand game. Have a microphone, keyboard, drumset, and a guitar!
  11. Well, I've noticed that if you listen to each Coldplay album, the style changes slightly. Parachutes was very acoustic, easy listening over all... But it still sounded Coldplay... A Rush of Blood was more up-tempo, and piano was definetley used alot more (and personally I believe it was the most commercial album)... But it still sounded like Coldplay... X&Y introduced more electronic sounds, such as synthesizers... But it still sounded like Coldplay... And lastly, there is Viva La Vida. Well, Coldplay obviously took a larger step in changing their sound this time. You can easily hear the Irish and Spanish influences... But guess what? IT STILL SOUNDED LIKE COLDPLAY... Sure, Viva la Vida isn't my favorite album by them. But it's still brilliant. These guys are unique. Anyone could easily notice that. I mean, how many other pop songs do hear on the radio that consist of an Orchestra and Tympanies? Not too many. Anyway, not everyone has to agree with me, but I respect Coldplay for experimenting with their sound.
  12. Beautiful. Simply Beautiful.

  17. I would ask any member... doesn't matter... 1. What kind of toilet paper do you use? 2. Would you perfer a chocolate or strawberry milkshake? 3. When was your "first time"? 4. Who's your favorite actor? 5. What songs do you have on your iPod? Those are just 5... Im sure if I was put in the oppurtunity, I would have a ton more!!!! :D
  18. For those of you who use iTunes, look on your "Top 25 Most Played" songs. How many of them are Coldplay? And if Coldplay is in the number one spot, what song is it, and how many times has it been played? Ok... I have 13 Coldplay songs in my "25 Most Played" songs. Coldplay is also in the number one spot, holding "Strawberry Swing", and it's been played 31 times...
  19. I voted for Will, but I don't think he's the greatest drummer of all time. Don't get me wrong... Will is very very spectacular at drums, but I picture drummers like Ian Paice and John Bonnam two of the best. BUT if you would say the best drummer of the 21st century, I would definetly say Will!!! :D
