  1. Oh, Radiohead lost a lot of fans because of Kid A. I had a minor "What the f*ck?" moment myself when I first heard it. But on the other hand, the band kept most fans hooked, and gained a whole different audience as well. I think they're even bigger now (in terms of 'fans' and 'respect') than 10 years ago when they were touring their most succesful album to date. There are three types of Radiohead fans. 1) The ones that like just about everything they ever did (like me) 2) The ones that only like the old stuff (up to OK Computer) 3) The ones that only like the new stuff (everything since Kid A) I know people belonging to all of these categories.
  2. Weeeeeell, not sure about THAT. But he sure hasn't lost 'it' yet. ;)
  3. Sounds pretty good. So I guess a new album's on the way then?
  4. Of their I.R.S. years, get Murmur, Lifes Rich Pageant and Document Of their Warner years, get Green, New Adventures In HiFi, Up and Accelerate
  5. Wow, that's quite a sudden surprise. First single? And why so soon? It's clearly a studio version.
  6. A promo video has been shot for 'All I Need' according to NME. Seems this will be the next single. Watch it here
  7. Well, actually I do recall myself thinking: "Hmm... this band sounds a lot like Travis" when I first heard Coldplay, back in 2000 or summat.

Yup, digging it. I saw her at a festival about 8 months ago, and I'll be seeing her again in about 2 months.

Definitely a contender for best album of the year. I prefer this to Arctic Monkeys myself. Oh, and I saw The Rascals live yesterday and they were pretty good as well. Miles Kane has a bigger influence than Alex Turner on this record I think, judging by his band's songs.
  11. I miss them. Reunite, please.
  12. The Last Shadow Puppets - The Age Of The Understatement Damn. I'm really surprised by this album. It felt like a punch in the face hearing this for the first time. Really blows Arctic Monkeys right out of the water. There, I said it. Alex Turner has really outdone himself here. Genius.
  13. Fact is that The Man Who remains one of my all-time most played albums... probably Top 3. I don't think Coldplay is in the Top 5.
  14. Actually, I'm pretty sure my ticket and your ticket look about exactly the same, as they are ticketservice tickets as well...
  15. Whaddayou think? ;) But I guess it's not just right to call TBWNN their 'new' album nowadays...
  16. Yeah, I suspect to receive the Amsterdam tickets some time in the first half of June. God, that seems like ages to me!!
  17. Wouldn't it be hilarious if he'd wear a Captain Caveman t-shirt every night on the upcoming tour? :P
  18. Jesus... the Scatterbrain geezer swallowed a chipmunk there, right?
  19. Seriously, how can you miss THAT? :S
  20. First Just to go, then High & Dry (though both should have gone a couple of voting rounds back to be honest)
  21. + The Trickster Killer Cars Cuttooth Punchdrunk Lovesick Singalong Palo Alto Bishop's Robes
  22. Fake Plastic Trees and Street Spirit are sooooooooooooooo gonna win.
