I just read about this an hour ago. I was shocked. 28 Years is just a terrible age to pass away. I wonder what drived him to take an overdose... I was really looking forward to seeing the new Batman film, but I'm sure I'll be watching it with mixed thoughts this time around.

I guess this is now the fans' favourite unreleased track by Radiohead. Well, that and Lift. Followed by Follow Me Around, in 3rd place. Better start working on those for LP8 then :P

Cuz some independent US stores apparently started selling it on sat. December 29, and those sales made sure In Rainbows charted sooner than expected (and quite low).

Urrmmm... last time I saw them they played 70-75 minutes :S

Only in the US ;) But anyway... I haven't heard too many 2008 albums yet but I agree that British Sea Power is the best bet yet.

EMI used to be a good home for their artists and bands, but its (new) big bosses seem to have screwed themselves by screwing their artists. Thom Yorke recently revealed that they were being paid next to nothing concerning EMI's digital downloads for their back catalogue, and for the past couple of years this particular kind of marketing has proven to be growing rapidly (ie. physical album sales has descreased while digital sales keep increasing). Macca and Radiohead have made the right choice by leaving EMI, and I'm sure Coldplay (and Robbie Williams) will too. 2008 and beyond will prove to become an exciting time for bands and artists, mark my words. The world doesn't necessarily NEED big corporative record labels. Artists will find a way to spread their music, one way or another.

Why the hell is Punchup in Q's shortlist of Radiohead tracks to download? It's arguably one of the weakest tracks on HTTT.

I'm really looking forward to this album. It's rumoured to be more like the 80s-R.E.M. again, which is awesome! Cannot wait.

Since a studio version video of Nude has been made, I guess it's pretty safe to say that it will be the next single to be released off In Rainbows. Wow. A Radiohead classic will be released as a single :)
