So Als, was kind enough to send me a mixtape, and I tried reviewing it: 1. ahhh I love this :dance:: very dramatic drums…. I know this voice, what is it! It’s for sure an artist I have in my itunes, but I can’t put my finger on it! Edit could it be fiction plane? His voice reminds me of Sting 2. hmm not a fan of the vocals, sorry, it sounds like a chant, not really my thing though. I do like the trasition bit in the middle 3. hmm I do not seem to have a track 3 4. something slow, it’s an alright song, nice for background music. But it doesn’t particulairly stand out for me 5. dramatic, it reminds me of damien rice. It’s not a happy song, but it’s beautiful. 6. Ohh Irish? Violins, uptemp and happy! I like this very much! Also i nice contrast with the previous song 7. Liking this too, going to be hard to pick a favorite I;d certainly like to hear more of this ! is it a banjo In there? (i suck at this) but anyway the tune in there is so very happy, sounds like spring! 8. Easy start and then really builds up, that’s how I like it, but country-ish, the singer has a very unique voice 9. Don’t have that either, it says patrick wolf ? :thinking: but it’s not working for me 10. Dance, not really my thing anymore these days, but I can appreciate it, it was something I used to like, reminds me of a song I have from those days, it was by D note 11. The beginning reminds me of Walking on a dream by Empire Of The Sun, but that changes quickly, liking the vocals, and the entire feel of the song. 12. Slow rocky, sufjan springs to mind. I could be completely off here, so don;t killme if i;m totally wrong :P likei t very much though, 13. But harder, heavier on guitar, reminds me of the kaiserchiefs, but the vocals and music don;t really connect for me.. 14. Good song, rocky, my kind. Not completely blown away lyrics are a bit cheesy to me 15. Teehee turkish? Love the drums, it reminds me of a belly dancers, makes me wanna try that, (better that I don;t though) but this is more of a club thing?? This makes me think the creator of this mixtape has roots here? And some shouts in there sound like my name :lol: My first mixtape, and I loved it :D really need the tracklist to this! Some thinsg I definitly wanna check this out While writing this final bit I listen to track 1 again, and I think sounds like Sting! Could it be fictionplane? Can’t pick one favorite but number 1,6 and 7 I think are REALLY great so Tnx! :D

that's okay Christa :nice: you being here is enough :D I did talk to her, she'sbeen rather busy, she moved out of her studentflat and back in with her parents. but the blocking is tsill going on wich clearly bums her out, and she tries to study on her own, but i;m guessing that's kinda hard to do :\ ^see above :) mahaha he is awesome, they all are btw but the one you'r referring to is Peter, he broke 2 guitar strings yesterday, and 2 diff guitars, and kept bumping things over, wasn't really his day, but it was extremely funny for us to watch :lol: and no it wasn't really on purpose, but I recorded several things so I can look back and here my voice and see what i do wrong, and I don't need to be in the mage for that so I don't really pay attention to what it;s fillming.. next week I;l try a diff cam, and hope t have better sound and picture (HD quality) and i'll pay more attention to what i;m filming :D ad now I fee like eating cake.. so wh'll bring me some huh ?!
