June 4, 2009 - submitted by Katie, United States of America Q. Why when I screamed to the band "play Like a Rolling Stone" they did not play it? I just want to hear Coldplay do Bob Dylan. The Oracle replies: Please don't take offence but it's not a request show. Apart from the fact that they'd need time to work out how to play other people's songs and learn lyrics, they can't just change the set when someone shouts out a song. They couldn't even do that if you shouted out for a Coldplay song! Can you imagine if everyone was doing that? It'd be pandemonium.

Two days ago my friend told me a story about CD and the hilarious is she said the CDs has expiry date?! For example you buy the CDs this year and after 21 years you can't use it anymore. She said the longest period only 21 years?! Is that make a sense that CD has expiry date? It's like a food when you can eat it or not. I know every single things that human being create will damage one day but this story like nonsense! Don't ask me where she got this story. Oh Oracle please give your answer and why. Do you agree with me or her? Tell me! The Oracle replies: CDs have been around since the early 80s and there's no sign of any of mine failing just yet! No, CDs are built to last. The recordable CD, known as CD-R, can vary in quality. They can deteriorate after as little as 18 months, but the better ones last a lifetime. I think as it's been reported that your average CD-R usually has a life of around 20 years, your friend may have assumed this was the same for all CDs.

Ooh, I forgot to tell... I've never been so pissed looking in my physics book than I did a while ago; it has a picture of Joe Satriani in it! :angry: Pissed as I was I did know that I'm not allowed to write in the school's books, so I took a little sticky memo, where I wrote: "No, Coldplay did not steal your crappy guitar track, Joe Sadriani!" and put it next to the picture, ha! :P Now the next student(s) that get the book after me and come across that page can see what I wrote! :evil:

OMG, a Danish tv programme (a weird dating program) just used a bit of the piano part of Amsterdam! :shocked2: Isn't that just unusual? (I mean it's not a mainstream song!) EDIT:WOW! Now again! The same show used the first few seconds of HIGH SPEED!! :shocked2: :dance: The other day another Danish tv programme had a part about Copenhagen marathon and used the whole Life in Technicolor (not ii, just LIT) showing the runners and interviewing a lady running! The song fitted perfectly to the clip! :dance: I went insane when I heard it. :lol:

I'm fine too. I had a nice relaxing weekend home alone most of the time. I partied with my class Friday (because it was last day of school) - it was great. :D Yesterday I found out that I've won an iPod Touch. :dance: I have a test tomorrow unfortunately, so I will not be online for too long this evening.
