I agree but HYSTW is more of a exception of their style, Muse have always been progressive rock band and Jonny is more of a classical guitarrist like The Edge and Jimmy Page.

Very interesting that u added all those Dutch bands, this kind of thing don't get known here. Explaining about why I don't fancy folk/country: I kinda enjoy the beginning of songs but some get too repetitive too fast. My taste is more global, based on things I heard on radio/festivals/concerts (just look at my signature :p ), here's an example: Bat For Lashes was opening act for Coldplay at Latin-American VLV tour, also Coldplay introduced me to Elbow on that charity event years ago (MX era). But definitely gonna keep an eye on Go Back To The Zoo, Pioneers Town and Editors :)
