uhm, but Coldplay aren't on the pre-nominations list.... so the only reason is to perform there, perhaps a new single. I still doubt this is the motive of postponing, Grammy performances are mostly of artists/bands who released something on the year before :inquisitive:

wow, didn't knew that people were blaming local/government issues for Coldplay postponing the dates :o not that this fact isn't worrying, but if that were the case, they wouldn't have announced the tour there in the first place.... so, LET'S KEEP CALM AND WAIT FOR THE RESCHEDULE

they said reschedule the dates.... it's not a cancellation (which would be pretty worse). brazilian press it's all focusing on the first part of the news ¬¬ it confuses people totally agree with this ^

maybe it was about renting venues and their availability and the time spent on moving the stage to a lot of cities/countries .... does anyone knows how many they're using on MX Tour?

if that's the reason, they are adding more time between the concerts so Chris can go and spend more time with Gwyneth....

It was some logistical issue for sure, btw, vry weird having only one week from announcement to tickets sell (in Brazil).... :nod::nod: probably 'til monday/tuesday they'll announce again, now Rio gets one more chance to be included on MX tour (keeping my fingers crossed!) :dance:

even though what you said makes total sense, why not t4f considered make small shows - for 15000 to 20000 - in other cities? that number is almost what Gaga's concert sold in Rio before the promos and discounts...

^ unfortunately, I don't think Brazil will get more dates... but last year, Coldplay crowded Rock In Rio with 100.000 people (like 90% were there just because of them), so they've seem that we are capable of selling out. it's a shame Rio's missing from Mylo Xylotour :confused:

but we don't have much options here, Apoteose will be booked for Carnival and I doubt they play in small arenas like HSBC Arena or Citibank Hall... I will hope that they announce more dates ;)

the shocker is about Brazil, Hugo. I'm not diminishing mexicans coldplayers, but we should have as much as dates as you guys :) I guess the main problem for Rio is the venue, there's only one stadium availble for big size concerts, Engenhão (Maracanã is under renovation for World Cup 2014).
