  1. I've remembered a guy I know at a party a few years ago was very drunk and drugged up and decided to piss in the Koi Carp pond at this house, I know it's wrong but it was kind of lol worthy at the time, mainly due to him wearing his gfs coat and falling about singing, I guess you had to be there. Mark both of us have said Community Service would have been appropiate.
  2. I don't slag off Religion 24/7 but I certainly don't agree with alot of its views personally, I had a very normal fairytale wedding pictured in my head from when I was a little girl which if I ever got married I would like to do, I also said me ever getting married is highly unlikely.
  3. I'm going to stay well out of this thread, the M word scares me shitless at the moment.
  4. If I ever got married I would kind of want a Church Wedding and a big White Dress, not that I believe in any organized Religion but because I would want a perfect day that was a dream from when I was very young, in reality though I doubt I will ever get married.
  5. Come on Napoli, I'm counting on you, would rather you go first than Milan stay there.
  6. I think Hailee Stanfield should get one for her work in True Grit, fantastic young actress I was really impressed by her.
  7. As I pointed out at the time, it's a 3 lane A road when, not busy doing 104 MPH down it isn't particularly dangerous, I regularly drive down the same stretch of road and well exceed 50 MPH just to keep up with the flow of traffic, I have no problem with people travelling in excess of 100 MPH on clear motorways or if you're going to be pedantic 3 lane A roads either as it just isn't dangerous to do so, but back to the point of these 2 young men, why do you think it was appropiate to give them a 2 year prison sentance for an act of drunken stupidity which didn't harm anyone and only caused the damage of an oven and a television.
  8. He took an airgun to work and shot someone which is fucking moronic, but lol@ high powered.22 air gun.
  9. Yes it was stupid behaviour, noones arguing that but getting 2 years in prison for melting a TV and being a drunken idiot while not actually harming anyone is unfair on them, 2 young peoples lives have been ruined for one act of drunken stupidity that didn't actually harm anyone. It wasn't too long ago I remember your banging on about Ashley Cole being a disgrace and a danger to society for doing 104 MPH on a clear motorway, when in fact it wasn't dangerous at all and he caused no one any harm, oh but he broke the arbitary speed limit in a car that could stop quicker from 104 MPH than a Ford Fiesta probably could from 40, the Daily Mail kneejerk to "shocking"(lol) events is just laughable and pathetic.
  10. It's funny, I'm half American and go there a couple of times a year to see family etc, last time I was there I think it was about $3.60 or thereabouts and I still thought wow how cheap is gas here. In the UK it's now £1.30 per litre, I know US gallons are a bit less than UK ones(how weird is that) but it works out that one US gallon in the UK is £5 which using an exchange rate calculator works out at $8!, most countries in Europe are at a similar price to the UK maybe slightly cheaper it's a rip off, if there was an alternative to an oil driven car that was actually as good as the equalivelent it was to replace I would buy one in a second but I think that's going to be some years off yet, not because I don't believe the tech isn't there, or at least the underpinnings for it, but because the Governments of the World can make more money out of use using oil for the moment which sucks. Still I partly have myself to blame, it wasn't a very good idea to get a car with horrific milage, luckily I don't drive many miles per year.
  11. That wouldn't be too bad for London or Manchester though if you did mostly local journies, although I wouldn't like to think what my electricity bill would jump to!. I'm still finding the pump going into triple digits while filling up a bit much.
  12. The Aus Dollar has gone up in value, $1.45=£2.5:stunned::P I also filled up this week and it was £117 which is shockingly expensive.
  13. I agree we need to find alternatives to oil, but in my opinion people won't start taking it seriously until it becomes a pressing issue, and governments throughout the world are still making far too much money off it to bother at the moment.
  14. I know someone who only got an 8 week ban and a fine for 85 MPH in a 30 limit, wasn't a clever thing to do, neither is drink driving or other stupid things, but do these guys deserve to spend a year in prison for being drunken dickheads who didn't actually hurt anyone or cause that much damage, no they don't, they should have got a fine to pay for the damage and a good years worth of community service every weekend as opposed to this senseless knee jerk reaction, some rapists have gotten off easier or in your eyes is that a lesser crime?.
  15. But they wern't,lives are at risk if you drive too fast in a built up area(which I don't condone either), are you likely to go to prison for it if you didn't actually hurt anyone?, of course not, the same as how these guys shouldn't have, although there's likely no reasoning with your sensationalist Daily Mail reader attitude.
  16. Seems a bit harsh for an obvious act of drunken idiocy which didn't actually harm anyone or damage the building badly.
  17. This is why I will get cremated, I would rather be spared rotting in the ground for Centuries, even though it won't actually affect me much either way.
  18. And use what instead?, your vast reserves that peaked in the 1970s and have hardly anything left?. I think the main thing the USA needs to do is attempt to cut down on it's oil use slightly: http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/ene_oil_con-energy-oil-consumption Almost 3 times as much as China in second place.
  19. I know, it would just be nice to only feel the happiness :).
  20. Thanks:), it used to be lil_miss_stratocaster. I feel a bit sad because I wish one of my grandmothers and my dad were still here to celebrate with me, I always get a bit like that on Birthdays and Christmas. Plus I'm getting old :P.
  21. It's my Birthday, I feel:) and  at the same time.
