  1. Couldn't agree more, ST is tremendous. And When You Were Young brought the house down last time I saw them.
  2. Saw 'em at The Borgata a week after the Coldplay Philly show. Now that was a good week. :wink3:
  3. Fix You should be the last "big" song. Not just because it's such an uplifting tune but because of the line "lights will guide you home".....perfect. Then The Escapist, which is a perfect outro.
  4. In precisely 49 days to the minute we'll be singing the chorus to In My Place.....wooeffinhoooo!!!!!!!!1111 :D
  5. 49 days to be exact!
  6. No, WMMR is doing it. But XPN is a great station, though.
  7. The local rock station here in Philly is doing an A-Z of its music archives and I've been waiting patiently for most of the Coldplay songs to come on, since the majority begin with a letter towards the end of the alphabet. Nothin' like hearing the boys on the radio, gives my chills!
  8. I bought that one for my girl at the philly show. Very cool and has a rather nice fit to it.
  9. Don't panic about getting your cameras in, guys. lol Seriously, those days of "no cameras allowed" are, thank god, over. I know it says that on the tickets but its meaningless. Cameras ready, prepare to flash!! :laugh3:
  10. holla! :kid:
  11. I think Coldplay is definitely what I call a "20-year" band. That is, a band that only comes around every 20 years or so. The 60s had the Beatles (or some would argue the Stones), the 80s had U2, and now we have CP. There's something special about them that sets them apart from their contemporaries.
  12. In the US, that is. Wow time flies. :shocked2: Happy Anniversary!!!
  13. I asked that question. Obviously it's an interesting one or else it wouldn't have answered. No need to get your panties in a wad. Maybe one day it'll answer one of yours. :D
  14. Well, they are big fans of DM. The first time I heard LIT I thought the chord progression in the beginning sounded familiar but couldn't place it. But yeah, now that I think of it, it's quite similar to that big synth hook in Strangelove. Hmmm...
