No I'm not going just for them. I go to university here in SoCal and I'm planning on spending all of next year abroad studying at Imperial College London, starting in late September. It was just perfect timing. So, I will already be there. I'm stoked.

i still cant believe how lucky i am to be in the GA floor section. This will be the best concert of my life. At the Forum, I was up so high I couldnt see anything.

They arent front row seats until you camp out over night. I think they just assign rows and seat numbers to leep track of how many to sell... I wish they were assigned, since I am row 1. haha

alright, just checked Stubhub to see how the scalpers did. Looks like they only sold floor seats for sections 2 -5,(except for one idiot trying to sell D1 tickets for $1500, obviously fake) which are all the ones in the back. we could be in good shape.

OK i tried again and got a GA5.... which menas there are at least 5 GA sections. I'm hoping, that just maybe... just maybe that the GA sections are going to be the 5 in the front... That would be epic!!! I dont see why GA would be in the back. Youd camp out to be in the back! and people are getting tickets for A3 and E3, so they could only be in the A4-E4 section which would be gay.

i got GA2 row 1.... does that mean that there are GA1, GA2, and GA3.... i dont get where these are going to be. Hopefully not in the back.

How can they win 3 grammys and get snubbed at the Brits. it makes no sense. When are people going to recognize Coldplay as the great band that they are. I'm sorry, but Duffy, Elbow, and Girls Aloud combined haven't accomplished half the things Coldplay have. And Iron Maiden needs to cut their hair and have normal drug free lives now that theyre all 50+.

i have to say, Robert Plant and Allsion Krauss sound so average to me. I think I would fall asleep in one of their concerts. I don't understand the Grammy's obsession with them. Coldplay got robbed twice. I wanted album of the year so bad. And so did Chris. You could see it while he sat on the edge of his seat.

I was at the John Legend concert here in San DIego on Friday, and Estelle was the opening act. At the end of her set, her and her band just broke into a very upbeat and rock version of God Put a Smile Upon Your Face. It was awesome, and it sounded pretty good. Do Estelle and Coldplay have any kind of relation or connection? Or is she just a huge fan like us.

i think whoever won this match was gonna win the whole thing. Green Day should take it.

I'm sure he was just referring to the fact that Joe had obviously been talking to them about it. Joe said he tried to settle it behind closed doors, so this is what Chris is talking about. Joe accused them of stealing the song long before he filed the lawsuit. It takes time to put these cases together. They obviously knew Joe's intentions, or else they wouldn't have mentioned him. This is what I don't understand. Satriani said he was "hurt" by it and it wasn't about the money It was about wanting recognition for his piece of art. If this were true, wouldn't he want this to go public? So people KNOW it is his, and not Coldplay's? He wouldn't be asking them for money behind closed doors first. I think he is full of crap here, and is trying to play the victim role as much as possible to hide the fact that he is trying to get all this money. If what he said was genuine, this is not how it should have played out... This whole issue frustrates me.

I would just go up to them and ask to shake their hands and tell them how much i appreciate their music and what it means to me. And i'd probably tell them they deserve all the success. If I had a camera I'd probably ask for photo.

Ok. This guy hasn't said anything more than we have. The songs have the same chord progression (a common one) have the same tempo (a common rock tempo), and the same meter (the most common meter in all of music). You could fit hundreds of tunes into that category. This guys is saying that chord progression and meter will outweigh the melody. Haha. Ok maybe that would be true if Coldplay was a guitar player that played the riff twice and than soloed the rest of the song... But Melody MAKES the song. chord progression and rythm are just some f the foundations. Also, i went to the website listed in that video, and it gives a link to that guys Myspace.... and he has Joe Satriani listed as one of his favorite acts and influences... SO he's obviously trying to influence public opinion to favor his artist. This is nothing new.
