If I had never heard Cemeteries of London, I would actually think that that clip was from a classical composition. And it would work great in a movie. It almost sounds like pirates of the Caribbean a little bit.

I was visiting relatives in England. British radio was playing Clocks about every 10 minutes on multiple stations. Everytime I went somewhere I heard them and fell in love with the song. When I got back I bought AROBTTH and soon after acquired Parachutes.

X&Y is a great album. It just wasn't anything new from them, thats why it drew criticism. Fix You - not overrated at all. Just because you don't like doesn't mean it's a bad song. It's a great song and you can tell there was a lot of musical thought put into it. At the concert I went to, it was probably one of the best songs played because of the energy that just exuded out of the band and the audience. It was remarkable. And when you know why the song was written, it definitely adds more meaning. Chris called it the most important song he had written. Speed of Sound - Also a good song. I don't see how you can say its a Clocks rip off except for the fact that they have somewhat similar drumbeats, yet still different. Sorry. Good song. Deserved to be a single. Very powerful. Obviously everybody has their own opinions, but there are reasons why these two songs were popular.

Chris strikes me as one of those guys that cuts his hair short, grows it out until it gets too long, cuts it again, repeat. That's probably what happened.

They were playing a dramatic story on Phelps and his Olympic journey and his quest for 8 gold medals, and it was synchronized with Life in Technicolor. The scenes changed along with the music. It was pretty cool.

Wedding Song? I showed my friend the song Gravity the other day, and she told me how she liked it and thought it would be a good "first dance" song at a wedding. It got me thinking, are there any Coldplay songs out there you would want played at your wedding, say for a first dance?

Chris martin and all of Coldplay have stated that VLVODAAHF is the best thing they have ever done as a band, and who am I to disagree? I love everything about VLV. They gave their band a "theme" that we can all stand behind. the viva theme. The website is revamped and it makes me feel more connected to them. Im always goin on it looking for new updates. The artwork, the clothes, the concerts, everything ties in with each other and I feel like I've grown closer to the band from this album.
