Bad news is it's my least favourite out of the four studio recordings I've heard so far. Good news is I like it very much. SO PUMPED FOR THIS FRIDAY!!!

  5. Here are my alternate track lists. I've also included a brief paragraph on what I have and haven't changed on each album. PARACHUTES Yellow Shiver Don’t Panic Spies Sparks Trouble Help Is Round The Corner High Speed For You Everything’s Not Lost Life Is For Living Yellow has such a big, immediate sound, I felt it grabs your attention quite well as the album opener. Don’t Panic seemed to fit better straight after Shiver, rather than opening the album. Parachutes just seemed very unnecessary at Track #7 due to its length. So I replaced it with the semi-longer Help Is Round The Corner because it still offers listeners a Chris acoustic solo. Instead of We Never Change at Track #9, For You is a nice, melancholic song that seemed to fit well straight after High Speed. It also prepares listeners for the piano heavy Everything’s Not Lost. A RUSH OF BLOOD TO THE HEAD Politik In My Place God Put A Smile Upon Your Face The Scientist Clocks Daylight Green Eyes Warning Sign A Whisper A Rush Of Blood To The Head Amsterdam No change made here. This album is perfect in every way. X&Y Square One Speed Of Sound Low X&Y Talk What If A Message White Shadows Fix You Proof The one thing I feel lets X&Y down the most is the thirteen song track list. Therefore, I’ve tried to cut it down to around ten, making it quicker for listeners to get through. The Hardest Part, Swallowed In The Sea, Twisted Logic and Til Kingdom Come were all removed as I felt they didn’t suit the overall feel X&Y was trying to go for. I’ve always felt Speed Of Sound and Low sounded better closer to the start of the album, rather than midway through. Proof sounds amazing as an album closer, particularly after Fix You. VIVA LA VIDA OR DEATH AND ALL HIS FRIENDS Life In Technicolor (Life In Technicolor ii but with Light Through The Veins added for the intro) Cemeteries Of London Lost! Glass Of Water 42 Prospekt’s March / Poppyfields Lovers In Japan (Osaka Sun Mix) Postcards From Far Away Viva La Vida Violet Hill Strawberry Swing Death And All His Friends Keeping in theme with making more compact albums, I removed all the hidden tracks (Reign Of Love, Chinese Sleep Chant and The Escapist) and Yes. I added Glass Of Water because it sounds like a song that was destined to be on the album. I’ve enjoyed the way Prospekt’s March / Poppyfields segues into Lovers In Japan on the Prospekt’s March EP. So, I’ve decided to put those two in that order on the album. Another amazing segue I’ve heard live was Postcards From Far Away into Viva La Vida. It was a no brainer to put those two songs next to each other. I've always found the order of Viva La Vida-Violet Hill-Strawberry Swing-Death And All His Friends to be fifteen amazing minutes of music. Was never going to change that around! MYLO XYLOTO Mylo Xyloto Hurts Like Heaven Paradise Charlie Brown Us Against The World M.M.I.X. Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall Major Minus Moving To Mars Princess Of China A Hopeful Transmission Don’t Let It Break Your Heart Up With The Birds Only one change here. I removed U.F.O. and replaced it with the more worthy inclusion Moving To Mars. Rest of the order has always been my favourite. Therefore, no alterations were required.
  6. Yeah that would make sense.
  7. Hmmmm the Beacon Theatre website said 9pm. Now I am very confused. Anyone who is actually going to the show able to help us?
  8. I am pretty sure the concert starts at 9pm, local time.
  9. Thank God it wasn't that awful owl. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Why do you find Lovers In Japan over produced?
  11. Midnight lyrics, me thinks.
  12. According to the Zane Lowe interview, that is indeed the case. The song is not titled as Fly On / O because Chris also said that the band is "done with the double titling".
  13. In the event of a leak coming out, I shall not listen to it under any circumstances. Gonna enjoy buying the CD and giving it a non-stop listen from start to finish.
  14. Gonna make it my goal to not listen to this song again until the album comes out.
  15. Rhys, Australia Speed Of Sound is the song that prompted me to find out what other songs Coldplay had created. If it wasn't for X&Y, I would never have become a Coldplay fanatic. And to this day, Square One remains one of my favourite album openers.
  16. Perhaps this is the song that will fly under the radar, like Don't Let It Break Your Heart on MX.
  17. Gonna scrap my audio rip from BBCR1 and redo it on the YouTube link.
  18. 7:30pm on 29th April, London time?
  19. When I heard the preview, I got this image in my head and then I remembered it was on Chris' hand written tracklist!
  20. RhysBP replied to Tash's topic in True Love
I am appreciating the fact that not one leak of it has come out yet.
  21. I believe in quality over quantity. Nine tracks is fine in my eyes. It's what in the songs that matters most to me. I'll admit to saying that the three extra tracks on the US Target release are a nice little bonus. However, at this point in time, I am not concerned if there's no B-sides or another EP or album in the foreseeable future.
  22. Can't find the original post (damn Tumblr) but I could've sworn someone said these were used during Another's Arms.
