I was munching on raw snow peas today for a snack, and cracked one open. I was surprised to see that the peas within the pod alternate their attachment points... from left to right to left to... :stunned: leftrightleftrightleft!!! :lol: (okay, I'm crazy, but it really was the first thing I thought of... did you guys know that about peas? I didn't...)

It's special because you know that other people out there are sharing the experience. :) But then you also get annoyed at the DJ when s/he talks over the end of the song or fades it out early!

Thanks for setting this thread up. :) I can no longer go to the Maryland Heights (St Louis) MO show on July 24. :( Selling for the cost they were during the presale. $260 for both--they're together. Upper Left Center section, row FF, seats 47 and 49. (seats odd numbered on left--there is no seat 48) I was going to put them on eBay today but since this thread exists now, I'll wait until next Saturday. On the contrary. Coldplay was an introduction for me to discover a LOT of great music. ;) Non-Coldplay music, even!

I'm working on this exercise anatomy book at work, where they (the authors) send photos of athletes and I draw the muscles they request over the top. It has something like 210 drawings to do and has been mostly leg muscles so far, but now I'm into the muscles of the arms and chest. Every time I open a new file and see on the list "Pectoralis major" I think of "Pectoralz." :D Maybe I should Photoshop some pectorals over one of the pics of the boys in the style of the book... ;)

So I frequent the GBS forums on somethingawful.com, where unfortunately the cool thing to do is hate on Coldplay whenever they come up. The couple times I've let myself mention them or post a picture for a relevant thread, I get called all sorts of horrible things by the 'Goons.' :\ I thought I must be the only CP fan on the entire forum of 120 thousand users. But then today I was browsing along and I saw this poster! :D I'm not alone after all! p.s. does anyone need St Louis tickets? >.> <.<

No, I think Tim is right. Isn't it a map of all the places they toured from 2002 to 2003? With the lines between the cities showing their flights? Actually, looking at it again, maybe not. I don't recall any side trips to Antarctica. ;) It was illustrated by Carys Hull at "BDH" but I can't find any info on them.

I made some magnets this morning! I printed up 2 sheets of covers from the discography, laminated them, and attached them to magnetic sheets using mounting adhesive. Then I got a good pair of scissors, and very carefully cut them apart. The images on the discography are 600x600 at 72ppi, so when printed they are a very nice 2" by 2". :)

I'd say the best you'll be able to manage is going to Staples or something and buying some thin (5mm) jewel cases. It's hard to find clear ones that aren't in color... :\ But you at least have the jacket, so it should look okay! My trouble single came with a cracked box and it's one of the thick 10mm cases. So I might pick up some of these but I'll probably just live with it. :) What I really need now are some acetate slips for the digipacks. Anyone know where I can find some of those? I want to protect the cardboard singles that don't have plastic cases.
