This is a public thanks to Natster, who won my Talk Live CD contest awhile back, and I asked her to send me a postcard from South Africa with a gemsbok on it, but she sent me a whole art print instead! Look! Getting it framed tomorrow! :D

Two days 'til I start my scheduled 2-week-long Coldplay hiatus. (16 day's til the concert!!!) It's going to be nothing BUT Coldplay 'til the hiatus starts. I'll check back in and let you know how I'm doing. Not sure if I'll even last. ; )

The buyer I (stupidly) got mine from was "914flipper" out of New York. Had about 50 rare CDs that all ended the same day, (within the same hour, actually) and then he canceled his eBay account. Before all the neg feedback could come in, I assume. I got my money back less shipping, which I probably didn't deserve given my lack of caution. What state was ducksicc out of?

I'm gonna try something; tell me if this is crazy. So I listen to Coldplay most days... because I put all my music on shuffle and well... there's a high percentage. ;) But for the week--7 days--before my concert, I'm going to go on a Coldplay Hiatus. So that when the time comes it will be a total "OMG Coldplay I've missed you so much you sound GREAT!" euphoria. Not entirely sure I'll make it. Hiatus set to begin Friday after next!

Does Coldplay own Albertus? I thought it was a freeware font! : O oh noes! I'll have to look into it, I guess. Easy enough to change if I have to. ;) It's just such a nice font. edit: Well it's not exactly a 'free' font... I guess I stole it from this forum. Nobody tell on me, 'kay?:stunned:

I think that's how I say it. :confused: So I agreed to design a logo for someone... I decided to use Albertus (the Coldplay font) and the logo is... a butterfly. :D (they'll never know!)

... when you're in the waiting room at Goodyear watching Coldplay videos on your iPod, and you're actually disappointed when they call your name and tell you 'Your car is ready!' It was the first time all week I've been able to just sit and veg out and I didn't want it to end! ;) At least I didn't need a new tire. Was just a leaky valve stem. Does anyone else leave Coldplay CDs in your car when you bring it in for service?... maybe pause it in the center of a good song and hope the service guy will hear it and say "ooh, what's this?" >.> Is it just me?

15 of my top 25 are Coldplay but #1 is Let Down by Radiohead with 46 plays... Fix You is second with 45. I will now listen to Fix You twice to remedy this mistake. ;)

For the last month and a half, I've been really depressed. Part of depression sometimes is not having a desire for things you normally enjoy. And I was completely burned out on music... all music. It was starting to concern me. I was listening to talk radio and audiobooks instead. Until Friday, and then this week at work I've been enjoying music again. And tonight for the first time I caught myself singing along! :D (to Fix You!) And it felt really good! I guess that means I'm better! I think the sunshine today helped (as well as fixing a couple of major issues I was having). Yaaaay! :)

GPASUYF is my definite favorite. It's so interesting and artsy, and, well... And Chris looks damn good in it:wink3: If these were still the days of VHS cassettes this is the part where the tape would get a bit fuzzy. >.>
