Okay, the next clip from Coldplay won't be played at 8.30 pm like I mentioned earlier but only at 9.30 pm (and then only 1 clip). Currently they are showing a concert of the Foo Fighters which is interesting in some way, as they recorded it on July 6th/7th at London's Wembley Stadium. So by seeing this concert, I get an impression what it will be like next year in September when I see Coldplay there. This place is just massive!!!! :shocked2:

Honestly I don't think so. :\ As long as you stick to the given size/format and stamp it with the right postage it should arrive in time :) It may get a bit dirty or bent but it will surely arrive :) So I am really positive about it (which is something new, as I am usually quite pessimistic :laugh3: )

It was 'only' the music video to that song, so nothing special unfortunately :(

Hey :) I just noticed by accident, that they already played a video at 5.40 pm. They played 'The Scientist' which I was quite surprised about, given that it's not 'that popular' in Germany. I somehow think that the band only got some recognition after their 'X&Y' album, but correct me if I am wrong ;) I am going to report which songs/videos will be played. Inbetween I watched 'MTV Hits' (the UK channel) and they had a rundown of the '100 Pop Anthems of 2008' and 'VLV' was on # 23! :)

@ Chelsea If it's okay, I would rather (or you should rather) create a new thread. I assume, that many people won't look in the old threads anymore once they've contributed their cards or messages. So a new thread maybe gets also the attention of the lurkers? But that's of course only my two cents ... ;)

@ Christa I think this is a nice idea ... :) 'cause there are probably some lurkers who won't post that they've sent a card nor post the card itself. So maybe a poll where they can vote anonymously is a great idea to get a clue of how many postcards were sent :) Of course that gives no guarantee to get an accurate number of cards but maybe an idea where we are standing with it!? :)

Hey everyone :) Just noticed in my TV programme paper that there's something about Coldplay on today on german TV (maybe also able to be received in surroundig countries?!) :) The channel is called 'Eins Festival' (don't know whether you can also receive it via satellite TV) and you can receive it via digital cable TV. The show is called 'Clipfestival: Coldplay' and starts at 8.30 pm and although it's only on for about 15 minutes, it may be interesting!? Just wanted to point this out. And as we are just at this very topic, there's loads of music on the programme '3SAT' on New Years Eve, starting in the very morning and lasting way past midnight. Of course, Coldplay are on as well. At 5 pm they will show part of their 'Live at the BBC' performance from summer of 2008 :) Unfortunately this show only runs for 30 minutes, but better than nothing :)

Well, one of my local radio station even mentioned it around some weeks ago when Satriani claimed that Coldplay 'stole' from him, that Satriani himself seemed to have stolen the song from someone else in the first place, so I guess a lot of media know this already .... But's it's always nice to get some attention and being mentioned in the press, eh?!?! :rolleyes: (btw. Mark, I felt free to use your very personal smiley just for this case, hope you are okay with it ;) )

Where are you from?! I've written in the other thread about the postcards, that people in Europe are probably safe, when they end up sending their postcards later, as the postal way isn't that long. We only know that the cards should be delivered in early January, but it could also be mid January. So just send it asap and maybe you'll make it in time :)

Also in this outfit? Or do you prefer something else? Given that you are in Australia, he'll probably be wearing shorts, a t-shirt and loads of sunblocker ;)
