Back from London and back from an absolutely brilliant performance of The Domino State. I'm still in awe about their gig, indescribable good! I took quite a few (soundwise) very good video and I'd like you to have a look at them. Here's the band's newest single, 'You Are The Winter' - ENJOY!! :) [ame= ] [/ame]

Um mal wieder zum Ursprung zurück zu kommen ... ;) Deutsch! Sitze gerade am ZOB in HH im Bus und warte auf die Abfahrt Richtung Lübeck. Bin überraschenderweise gut aus dem Bett gekommen und habe NICHT verpennt :D Hat jemand von Euch gestern Popstars gesehen? Ich guck' so'n Scheiss ja sonst nicht, aber gestern war lecker Schnittchen Adam Levine/Maroon 5 dabei :nice: :smug:

Wie gesagt, vermutlich würde ich auch auf RyanAir schwören, wenn ich mehr in der 'Wallachei' wohnen würde und somit mein 'Weg' zu den Airports Bremen und/oder Lübeck nicht so weit wäre. Da ich aber nun mitten in der Großstadt wohne und somit Lufthansa direkt vor der Tür habe, kratzen mich die ca. 20 Euro mehr nicht. Dafür habe ich 'humane' Flugzeiten und keine halbe Weltreise, um zum Airport zu kommen ;) Vielleicht liegt's eben auch daran, dass ich mit Stansted bisher schon einige negative Erfahrungen gemacht habe. Einfach dumm gelaufen, denke ich ....

DEM kann ich mich voll und ganz anschließen :nice: :D Eigentlich müsste ich auch mal wieder anfangen, mein Geld zu sparen, aber irgendwie klappt das nicht so recht :( :confused:

Bei Dublin kann ich auch AerLingus SEHR empfehlen. Die haben von HH 'ne Direktverbidungung und dort gibt es häufig auch gute Angebote. Bin mit AerLingus ja letztes Jahr zum CP Konzert nach Dublin geflogen, hat alles super geklappt :) :D

^ Mach jetzt mal ohne 'quote' ;) Kann es komplett verstehen, ausserdem ist es immerhin ein Unterschied, ob man Student ist und daher unter chronischem Geldmangel leidet oder ob man eben eigenes Geld verdient. Hinzu kommt vielleicht auch das Alter :laugh3: ;) Okay, jetzt wird Nicole kommen und sagen, dass sie auch 'älter' ist bzw. eigenes Geld verdient und TROTZDEM mit RyanAir fliegt :p Auch hierfür habe ich ein Gegenargument :laugh3: : RyanAir fliegt ja direkt ab Berlin nach London ... Von Hamburg müsste ich entweder nach Lübeck oder eben Bremen, beides für mich ein Riesenzeitfaktor, besonders bei den unchristlichen Abflugszeiten :p

Naja, ich versuche soweit wie möglich RyanAir zu meiden. Es gibt zwar ab und an 'günstige' Flüge, aber durch die ganzen (versteckten) zusätzlichen Kosten, UND die Zeit/das Geld für die Anfahrt nach Lübeck, UND die doofen Abflugzeiten in Lübeck bzw. London ist RyanAir für mich nicht wirklich eine kostengünstige Alternative ... Dann pack' ich lieber nochmal 20 Euro drauf, fliege direkt ab HH mit Lufthansa (oder zukünftig vielleicht auch mit EasyJet) und habe 'vernünftige' Abflugs-/Ankunftszeiten :) Plus: keine Gepäckbeschränkung, wenn ich mal länger dort bin ...

Bis Sonntag einschließlich, also fast 3 komplette Tage. Fliege Montag nachmittag wieder zurück, also lohnt sich schon :)

... ach Du auch :laugh3: Ich sitze hier auch in meinen PJs mit 'ner Tass Kaff. Bin aber auch 'erst' um kurz vor 11 aufgestanden ;) Trotzdem .... sollte allmählich mal in die Gänge kommen, ich kenne mich zu gut, nachher verfalle ich wieder in Hektik :( Ausserdem muss ich heute wirklich früh ins Bett, da um ca. 3.45 Uhr die Nacht schon wieder vorbei ist ... ^ Wenn wir nicht aufpassen, überholen uns die Franzosen mit ihrem Thread bzw. der Anzahl der Posts dort bald ... ;) Irgendwie sollte ich eigentlich im Stress sein, bin ich aber nicht. War die letzten Tage bei einigen Konzerten und war auch so viel unterwegs. Und morgen fliege ich bereits sehr früh nach London (ebenfalls für ein Konzert) und ich habe bisher noch NIX gemacht. Des weiteren habe ich noch diverse Dinge zu erledigen (Orchideen wässern, Tasche packen, einkaufen usw.) und es ist mittlerweile fast 12 Uhr mittags ... Man man man, wenn ich bloss nicht so faul/müde wäre ...

Exactly!! :) You can hardly choose. Anything you'll get is a complete bonus and I'm really grateful for anything.

When I was really young I was mostly interested in autographs (with a dedication, though) and I would collect the signatures in a book and put a self taken photograph of the person on the other page. Then all these autograph hunters who would sell the signatures on Ebay showed up and somehow autographs lost their magic for me. So I started asking people whether I could have my picture taken with them. Pictures are still the most precious thing for me. When going through them, they remind me of so many wonderful things which happened when meeting the particular person. Of course a conversation is the best thing which could happen to you but these moments are very rare, as most of the time you don't have a real chance for a nice/longer chat plus I'm always way too shy and lost for words when talking to (famous) people :laugh3: Afterwards you have the funniest ideas what you could have said aso. (in case you are lucky to remember what kind of nonsense you babbled) but the chance just passed. However, I really don't want to complain. :) I reckon' everyone has different priorities but for me the order would be: - photo - conversation (only 2nd place due to lack of spontaneity & shyness) - autograph

Uneasy Lies The Crown - The Domino State

Okay ... sorry in case people already know but I thought I would drop this info here as well as it might get more people checking them out ... This gig which takes place in London on October 30th at the Notting Hill Arts Club is a 'daytime' gig and is completely FREE!! You don't need to pay for the tickets so there's absolutely NO REASON not to go ;) Around 3 - 4 different bands take the stage there and The Domino State are the headliner and will take the stage at around 6.55 pm. I am going, do you?? :D

*ROFL* Best description ever :laugh3: But then again, you can't really compare GB to AJ or TY ... :\ Don't like AJ at all ... :angry:

I'm with Thalia on this ... was really afraid to click on it but then did it ... :( My life will never be the same again :bigcry: Sorry, but even though it may be different, it's deffo NOT my cup of tea ... *shudders*

Either silver or gold ... :) As for 'real' colours I somehow would think of red as well. :thinking:

Have to bump that thread again as there are new live dates available and if I'm allowed to make a recommendation: try to catch them on any of these gigs. On the first four shows they are supporting The Boxer Rebellion. So that's how he was like when he left the Shepherds Bush Empire after the War Child Gig and we followed him. He was on the other side of the street already and everyone ran after him and he was shouting at us to be careful and to watcht he traffic :laugh3: Bless him! :) Amazing story, Imke :) Both of you were just extremely lucky and fortunate to be able to meet the 3 guys.
