Petition to ask Coldplay to release Bloodless Revoltution
I agree with a-chan (sorry, don't know your name) and besides ... I don't really like 'Bloodless Revolution' myself. They had to do A LOT OF editing/changing to that song to make me like it :laugh3:

## ABSOLUTE RADIO LIVE STORIES - PLEASE VOTE FOR DAVID SHEPPARD IN THE FINAL NOW! ##
@ Chavi Girl, you've put it just perfectly! Just miles better than I ever could! The thing which bugs me the most is the fact, that the stories should represent this forum and I totally agree with you Chav, that some stories make us all look like some crazy and over the top fangirls :( But the majority speaks and if it's to embarrass this whole forum, then so be it. :( Okay, I better leave this place now, as I see no point anymore ...

25-Aug-2009: Hannover Stadium, Hannover - Tickets, Previews, Meetups, Reviews/Photos
Honestly speaking I am not really familiar with the schedule yet. BUT usually there's some noise control for outdoor events, esp. during the week so I reckon' the concert will finish at 10.30 the latest. But don't hold me to that ;) Nearly two hours should be plenty of time to reach the main station via public transport :) Unless you want to be 1st row and need some good time to get out of the arena ;)

## ABSOLUTE RADIO LIVE STORIES - PLEASE VOTE FOR DAVID SHEPPARD IN THE FINAL NOW! ##
I am there with Zeya :) I prefer reviews which are more classic style. Of course 'meeting the band' can be part of it as well ... to some extend. But if they get too long and maybe a bit 'too detailed' I could figure that the judges at Absolute Radio wouldn't bother reading them or taking them in the final draw, but of course little do I know. It's a bit sad that it seems (some) people only voted to choose 'the best experience' as this is so very relative. A fantastic experience to one person can be a boring one to another. So what do you consider being the 'best experience' then? Meeting the band? I thought this was more about the concert, about the circumstances of getting there and the whole anticipation waiting for the concert date to arrive? I already stated my fave stories, but I haven't voted yet as it's hard to decide which one I want to represent this forum. All my fave stories have one thing in common though. That music is a very important thing in life, that it can cross borders and connect people and make your sometimes shitty life a little bit brighter :)

## ABSOLUTE RADIO LIVE STORIES - PLEASE VOTE FOR DAVID SHEPPARD IN THE FINAL NOW! ##
Important Reminder!! Seeing this thread at the moment, I guess many users didn't read the 'small print' :( (= terms of condition by Absolute Radio). People (only some btw.) just pointed out that they voted, but not whom for or why! May I quote Jen from her first post in the stories entries thread: There we go ... So where are all the users who voted so far? :stunned: Which story stood out for you and WHY!?? Would be great to get some sort of discussion going on the last few days, otherwise I don't see much of a chance for the forum to win this competition.

I haven't voted either, well not yet ;) But honestly speaking, I am not so sure whether I will give my vote at all. :(

It's not about WINNING, but about representing the forum best. And I've already mentioned who my faves were and why.

## ABSOLUTE RADIO LIVE STORIES - PLEASE VOTE FOR DAVID SHEPPARD IN THE FINAL NOW! ##
Exactly! :) It should be about the writing not about who's friends with who ... :\ And therefore this whole voting will fail its actual purpose, but that's just my opinion, I guess ...

## ABSOLUTE RADIO LIVE STORIES - PLEASE VOTE FOR DAVID SHEPPARD IN THE FINAL NOW! ##
This will be a very hard decision to vote for on single preview as there are quite a few good stories in here. :\ I personally like Min’s (butadream), Farizah’s (Zeya), Angie's and Chavi’s entries best. :) Especially Chavi brings out a very important point – what music is all about: Meeting new people, making great friends and connecting with like-minded people all around the globe. Music brings people together, no matter which age, sex or race and because of music, concerts and different internet forums I’ve got to know some people who I consider now as my best ‘real life’ friends. So demonising the internet as being anonymous and cold is definitely wrong and this forum and Coldplay’s music proves it! Edit: Have to include Malcom's to one of my faves as well ;)

[not official yet] Coldplay in Latin America on February of 2010
That's great news ... unless they are really true!! It's great for both parties: CP that they will get some months off after Wembley and to spend pre-christmas-time with their families and for the fans in Latin-/South-America as well, as the dates are not quickly rushed/squeezed in before X-Mas! Woohoo!! :D

Strawberry Swing Tracklist / Artwork / Promo CD
*ROFL* Hahahaha :laugh3: , classic!! :D

Coldplay - Live 2009 - Wembley!-- ( PETITION )
Who said that they are desperate to release it by X-Mas? I mean, there a hundreds of releases around that time of year, so it might be more clever to release it early next year, to reach better sales positions in the charts. Around X-Mas time the shops get flooded with CDs, DVDs and stuff ... I still want it to be a Wembley show and I'd rather wait another few months for that instead of getting something which was rushed together just to have it in the shops by X-Mas time ... ;)

Old Coldplay vs New Coldplay
I just got (properly) involved with CP last year but I have to say that I do prefer their older style. The Viva-Outfits are really cool :) But they were only cool to promote the album, IMO. :\ Touring with these clothes for over a year now (even if the tour is still called 'VLV') looks kind of ridiculous to me, too much like carnival and dressing up, if you know what I mean ... I just wish they would go back wearing more casual clothes which look less like boyband dressing up .. :(
-
Who Are the Cool People Here?
Honestly speaking, and this reflects just my opinion, to me it's not 'different' & 'unique' anymore if they keep touring with these clothes for over a year now. :\ I mean, they had the clothes/outfit to promote the VLV album but this spoken album is already over a year old now and even though it's still the Viva La Vida tour it looks a little ridiculous that they are still wearing the same clothes for over a year now. To me it looks a bit like carnival ... :( Would prefer them dressing more casual these days ... :)

Well, he seems not to be too chatty while being on stage ;) He was talking a little during the concert, but not that much ... ;)

WHAT'S AFTER WEMBLEY!?
So who's going to buy the dog, then?? :D
-
WHAT'S AFTER WEMBLEY!?
:laugh3: Is this honestly a real question? I mean, they are touring kind of non-stop for over a year now. How can anyone record an album when being on tour. Them talking about 'recording' inbetween mostly means, that they are doing demos or something similar, but recording another topselling album doesn't happen overnight ...
-
WHAT'S AFTER WEMBLEY!?
So they are not a boyband???! :stunned: This is really new to me!! :laugh3: :D 'Cause by the behaviour of some fans one can sometimes actually get the impression that Coldplay are in fact some kind of boyband :\ :laugh3: I really hope they will take their good time, to write, discuss, record, mix aso. new stuff and as much as I love hearing new songs, I really hope it won't surface before mid 2011. I urgently need time to save some money for future tours ;)

Chris Martins little brother ;) :laugh3: @ Mark Congrats on getting the pic taken :) I would have loved to meet him as well here in Hamburg but as I was with a job colleague, I couldn't wait after the show :( I'll try my luck in October when he's playing in Hannover again :D

German Fans?
Da geht dann einiges an Stimmung flöten.
