  1. June 12, 2009 - submitted by julie, United States of America Q. During the live version of Clocks on LEFTRIGHTLEFTRIGHTLEFT, Chris is heard repeating a phrase over and over after the verse "nothing else compares". Can you tell us what he is singing? The Oracle replies: "Home, home, where I wanted to go".
  2. June 12, 2009 - submitted by Julie, United States of America Q. Dear all-knowing Oracle I heard a rumor that The Scientist by Coldplay (obviously) was going to be on the New Moon soundtrack. Is this true? Peace, luv, Julie <3 The Oracle replies: It's very likely that a Coldplay song will end up on the soundtrack to the Twilight sequel given that Stephenie Meyer has credited Coldplay, amongst others, on the inner sleeve for "being instrumental in staving off the writer's block".
  3. Very good :) Thanks for sharing :) Next time more pics of the other bandmembers please ;) :laugh3:
  4. Squuuuuueeeee Hester :) And we are soooo going to meet there with Carla and Chavi and god knows who else ... :D Even though I will see them before at Hannover and Munich I am sooo very excited about going there as well ;) Even today I asked my jobmate whether she would borrow me her navigation system for the car so that I can make my way to get there easily :)
  5. Sorry to bump this thread for these tiny and unimportant news but I have just bought myself tickets for both Nijmegen shows :) So I will be there as well!! SQUUUUEEEEEEEEEE! :D
  6. Wondering whether Guy is swiming the BUTTERFLY .... :\ ;) :laugh3:
  7. @ Tracey Oh no ... it wasn't aimed at you in a bad way ;) Not at all, sorry if it came across like this. It was more or less me pondering about these things ... whether the internet has vanished any common sense or respect for other people, that's all. I used to post on other artists forums as well, and if people would have written the stuff over there which is written here, it would have been deleted. Not because of censorship but because of respecting someone's privacy and being decent. Well, I don't know whether this makes sense at all ... :laugh3:
  8. Sorry, me again ... What also crossed my mind is the following: Most of us criticise the paps for invading the guys privacy and being disrespectful but hey ... aren't we doing exactly the same in some ways? :\ Surely you can't compare it completely but there are some similarities, at least I think so ... :(
  9. @Tracey The times have probably changed A LOT since I was in my teens ;) I mean, I have always been into music and fancied different bands/singers over the years. Okay, back then there wasn't the chance to go onto the internet (as there simply was NO internet back then), find background infos and photos of your fave musician aso. You just had to rely on the teen magazines for posters and stories and maybe started penpalling with other fans in different countries. What I am trying to say is, even though back then you fancied someone in the band, I can't remember having such a talk about what you would like to do with a certain someone, how often and where :shocked2: I mean ... has the internet made people more disrespectful these days, is the youth more 'careless' or what is it? :( Sorry, but I'm a little lost here ...
  10. And esp. where this other band will be in 10 years time ;) Maybe they will still be together and on the road and driving past another van on the motorway with a band in it and going through the same thoughts R#42 was going through?!?
  11. And esp. where this other band will be in 10 years time ;) Maybe they will still be together and on the road and driving past another van on the motorway with a band in it and going through the same thoughts R#42 was going through?!?
  12. @Liz Thanks for these amazing photos :) You're getting better at taking them or was it because you were less nervous and shaky to see him again? :laugh3:
  13. EXACTLY the point!!! I mean, the chances that Phil, Debs or any bandmember are actually likely to visit some certain threads on here are quite low. Surely they've got better things to do and they probably also know that this is a fan's place and some just need to drool over bandmembers aso. Which is fine with me, I've done/I am doing that as well. ;) But it's the way, these things are done! And honestly speaking, at least for my opinion, things are getting a little bit out of hand, or the way things are written is getting a bit more gross these days. I am surely not prudish but I just think that some things said and done are quite disrespectful, IMO. And I am just imagining what would that certain bandmember think of this place and the people posting this stuff if he was reading all these comments ...? :\ Okay, probably not likely to happen but still ... Food for thought!
  14. @ Ebs757 Fantastic photos!!! :stunned: More please!! :D
  15. No worries, I know :laugh3: That's why I put the :laugh3: -smilie underneath it ;) Just wanted to bring a bit of drama in here :laugh3: *cough*
  16. *cough* You happen to compare me with a certain someone?!??! :stunned: Now I am shocked even more :( :bigcry: :laugh3:
  17. OMG!! :shocked2: I can't believe that he actually picked up my idea with the stage photos!! :stunned: I mean, I suggested that to him some days ago and kind of 'reminded' him yesterday before I went to bed (which was at around 6.30 pm US time) and now I get up to check Twitter and have to find out that he IN FACT took the advice ... :o Honestly ... I am kind of scared about myself now
  18. Coldplaying Power!!! :D That's a HUGE difference ;) Plus Coldplaying Karma :D
  19. Of course we are witches!! :P Good ones and we've got the power!!! :D
  20. Especially when it's raining :) The stage is covered with some kind of roof but even if people get soaking wet, the atmosphere usually is amazing there :)
  21. Stadtpark is awesome and so people are usually really relaxed there. I once saw Duran Duran there (yep *hangs head in shame*) and I ended up first row without even fighting for a place there. Simon still looked hot :laugh3: I am probably going to see SP there as well, as long as I will be able to get tickets for that :)
  22. So let's start a twitter petition at 10 pm UK time for getting Will doing some tweeting :) :D Maybe we get at least another tweet from him ... ;) It could work :D 'United Coldplaying Witches' at work :D :D :D
  23. I'm not really serious with what I said, it's more some fun thing ... :laugh3: I am completely over the moon and so happy that he's back at Twitter :) Now my working days will start with a smile upon my face :) :) :D
  24. Wait a minute ... Conspiracy?!?!? I was just stumbling over something ... Guy used to upload all his pics with TwitPic where one could leave comments. Now the photos are uploaded to YFrog and Jonny was written with an 'h'. Is it really Guy twittering or do I have to much time on my hands to ponder about so random things like this?!?!?
  25. Honestly :laugh3: he's not very good at hiding it ... ;) :D
