Ok, so I've just write to Anova books (kinda send the message to all executives listed here!: http://www.anovabooks.com/contact.asp with this: I doubt they ever answer us but it's worth a shot right?! I also tweet Miller about this (using his last entry on cp.dom as an excuse...I know, it's lame but... :embarassed: )He won't answer but maybe he'll bring the subject to Matt...?? I'm Aurélie ^^ I KNOW!! I'm totally obsessed by costumes (no matter the movie, and historical pieces are my little pleasure!). So here my fav on the Tudors: Queen Katherine (I haven't found her dark blue dress for her trial which is gorgeous!) Queen Anne Queen Jane I reckon that it must have not been practical during summer or for going to the bathroom XD but still, it's so beautiful!! Men costumes are also fabulous! Espacially in season 1 when Henry is this young man full of life, it's reflected in his costumes. In S2 then S3, his clothes are dark and full of fury things :\

Oh yeah, I saw that too and during 'Stade 2', they show from another angle and you can see president of the french tennis league (Jean Gachassin) trying to punch the guy in the face when he crawl to the tribunes after going after Fed :laugh3: The journalists asked Gachassin why he did that and he said that it was unaceptable and that he just want to beat the crap out of this guy :lol: (funny when you see the old man!!) When he said that, Fed was next to him laughing!

As I said, I love this show and this part of history ^^ I remember visiting the Tower of London on a school trip and saw my english teacher over excited in front of the piece of wood where Anne Boleyn was beheaded...XD + *gross* If you like the show, you could watch the two movies on his daughter Elizabeth with Cate Blanchett, also written by Micheal Hirst ;) And my little contribution to this thread: Did I need to say more.... :rolleyes: (and as a Guy fan, don't find too that Henry Cavill as something of our Berryboy???)

I LOVE this show!!! I love historical piece (I love the dresses *w*) and even if the Tudors aren't totally acurate historically speaking (stuff happens later in real life as in the serie or characters are 'fusionned' etc...), it's still good!! JRM is a fantastic Henry (not the looks, he's not fat and red headed XD) but his personnality is well done and it's so good to see him evolved during the 3 first seasons ^^ Henry Cavill too do a great job with Charles Brandon, taking him from the manwhore to the familly and duty man.... It's a pity that season 4 will be the last....Micheal Hirst wanted to to Edward VI and Bloody Mary' reigns but I can't see that happen (considering they ruined the Lady Jane Grey's storyline by screwing with Charles Brandon's lovelife....) Season 3 was really good and dark, my favorite of the 3 seasons! But as a french, I was a little disappointed not to see our beloved François Ier! His character cracks me up and his personnality was well adapted ^^ A little angry too to see Hirst marry Margaret with the king of Portugal in season 1 (in real life, Charles Brandon's wife was Mary, not margaret, and she was married to french king Louis XII... but in season 1, they start as François Ier already king, so they had to twisted history :/ ) Anyway, great great show!! They'll start shooting season 4 in Ireland this June ^^ (and if you go to Dublin, you can see where they shoot the parliament and the chruch! I was surprised last year when I got on vacation there to see our guide telling us that some scenes of the Tudors was shooted here and there!!) I've just managed to see the last ball and Fed getting the trophee....:/ But it was really moving to see him cry and have the cup handed by my dear beloved André....*w* Roger said great things in ITV after the ceremony during 'Stade 2', the sport show we have here (and live from RG). He was freezing on the balcony of the set (which is on the top of the Central court), all wet and the interviewer had to give him his coat to warm him up XDD I'm happy for him: great victory for a great player!

(or I'm just hallucinating...XD) As for th the 'stripped down' thing...I don't know...It would make sense if they reaching to do small venues again (as chris said in the article) but on the other hand, when you read Miller's comments on the new material, it seems more epic and with a 'wild sound' to me...(plus J, G&W are experimenting a lot of stuff with Eno, who's not known for a low key...) Anyway, I woud love anything they come up with :rolleyes: Pity, we'll have to wait a few years to hear that baby...:/
