Every tour is a big event and they're everywhere on the radio. I checked they tour timeline on their website and they never been to Spain :/ Only Canada, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg...and odd places like Perou or Vietnam! I was too young in the 80's so I don't know how he influence the band at the time but their sound changed after his death. But his passing wasn't a big shock cause he was sick for years. It funny cause they're not seen as a 'has been' band...on the countrary, listening to 'Indo' (as we say here) is still view as 'cool' and for every generation...which is kinda remarquable for a career that long!

Yeah, but they are a reflect of that time but they manage to evolve for the better like Depeche Mode or A-Ha :) I think that Nicolas' emo look (the dude is around 50 I think) is a big part of that 'mixing'. Plus their 'new' sounds is radio frendly so they're played a LOT on every stations hence, a big popular fanbase :) Plus, as I said, they are an iconic band here...there are very few french rock bands and even less successfull ones at this scale!

Maybe because you're in the US?? In Europe, the pit is 95 % of the time standing in stadium and arenas.... :shrug: +1 Never seen Muse. I agree they might be better musicians but it doesn't make it all for me. Mistakes and interaction with the crowd is what make (IMO) a show 'alive' and fun. I prefer seeing a jumping/talking/imperfect Chris than a technically perfect but 'cold' Muse....

Car si on réflechit: 1- le boat trip va probablement être l'occasion d'annoncer officiellement en avant-première une date de sortie de l'album 2-Mai, ça nous donne 6 mois pour finaliser/mixer/faire pcohette+promo, c'est juste le laps de temps idéal pour ça! 3-ça rentre dans leur rythme de travail et leur habitude de sortir un album dans ces eaux-là, comme l'a très justement souligné Angélique Perso, je commence la :dance: intérieure et le compte-à-rebours....
