  20. You don't have to read this if you don't care, I'm not really looking for a huge amount of sympathy or anything, but I just want to get it out or something because i feel horrible. It's my sister's sixteenth birthday today, and my mother and I gave her her presents last night. I was brushing my teeth in the bathroom and my sister, Samantha came in and picked up a hairbrush and stood around a little, but was unusually quiet, so I didn't say anything to her because sometimes she's in a bad mood in the morning (if she "doesn't have anything to wear" or if shes having a bad hair day) nor did I remember about her birthday. My sister and I have always been more like good friends than sisters and we've never really fought about anything. I know that she would have NEVER forgotten my birthday, especially if I was turning sixteen. Anyway, my mom called me to the kitchen this morning while my sister was sitting there because she "needed help finding the dog's toys." I went downstairs, picked up a toy, gave it to her, and went to walk upstairs. Then my mom called after me and said why don't you wish your sister a happy birthday? So I turned to give her a big hug and appologize, but she was already out the door. I freaked out at that point and actually started crying and ran to my room to cool off a little. I'm not sure how I'll be able to live with myself all day, because like I said, she's my best friend.:( Nobody needs to reply, this just helped me cool off. If you did take the time though, thank you, and what should I do?:embarassed:
