:DYes - that is the beach at Seaside ,Oregon- I spent a couple of weeks there in October after Liam was born. I live about an hour from there. Here is a pic taken in October- you can see it's the same area on the beach. (taken a few hundred yards north of the swings)

:) greetings ! I am looking for any information on Springerle, or Speculaas biscuits(cookies)......such as old family recipes, and in particular, the wooden molds to make these. Does anyone here have a tradition of these at Christmas? There are molds to be found made in the USA , but I am looking for Scandanavian recipes, molds, or stories from any of you from there. :dozey: facebook is so irritating- even with all the apps blocked. when you have tons of friends, you get tons of birthday reminders. feels like every day i have a guilt trip for not wishing 5 people happy birthday.
