Of course you can buy a Travelcard. When I'm in London, I use the tube so often ... it's makes for me not a difference to an Oyster Card. But you have to choose between Peak and Off-Peak. The Off-Peak is cheaper but you can use the tube, busses... only from 9:30 am at week ;)

You're right Anna :) Maybe it sounds a bit complicated at first but it isn't - even I've never lost in the London Underground ;)

You can use the Piccadilly line and change at the Green Park station in the Jubilee line to Swiss cottage station.
