I prefer the Winter Olympics over the Summer Olympics by a mile. I like figure skating and it's disappointing to know that Jeffrey Buttle of Canada is not participating. He was a good skater and very enjoyable to watch. So for the men's figure skating, it could go back to Pluskenko of Russia, who I feel lacks any artistry and does just jumps and the judges give it to him (they did at the last Olympics). As for the ladies' event, I say Yu Na Kim of South Korea has that, she's on fire and she's quite good. For the pair's event, I say it will come down to the German team (whose name I can not spell) and Shen and Zhao of China. I don't care for the dance competition.

I didn't receive my Secret Santa card either. Oh well, at least I got a card from Carla.

I haven't received a card but the person that I was assigned to (Nancy) got my card and that's the most important thing for me.

I liked it. I thought it was funny. What a name for a game show...Nutcracker! :laugh3: And, their impersonation of David Caruso was dead on. I didn't feel sad until the end when they were talking to Gabriel.

Honestly, I would say it is a tie between the two because of the different audiences each band attracts. Coldplay seems to have more of a girl following with a good number of adults (older but not too old) liking the music. Radiohead, on the other hand, seems to draw more of the college audience (males in particular) and the crowd that some would say rebel against some of the norms. It's hard to explain but, overall, I say it's a tie.

Oh, I don't plan on mailing out my card until the last week in November. I just wanted to get it done early because of all the work I have to do.

Got my match and my card is done. Now I just have to mail it out.
