i love coldplay for two reasons. first they are the only band i know of that really truly speaks from deep within thier soul and touchs mine (Not many bands do that) and second is that the talent in the group is so amazing that they can pull off the music they write with Chris's voice and the rest of the bands talent on thier instruments (I know of no other band that can pull that off).

Elton John's Can You Feel The Love Tonight or Frank Sinatra's Stranger In The Night whould also be two id like to hear them sing. :D

Im paul. ive been a coldplay fan ever since i heard a snipet of them from my cousins car where he had yellow burnt on a cd. ever since then i have been a huge coldplay fan. the only problem is that no one in my town likes them so i am pretty much alone in listening to them. thank god i found this fourm to talk to people who like Coldplay. i wish i could see them in concert but im in a little bit of a cash problem at the moment or i would be flying to san diego to see them on the 9th of September. well anyay nice to meet you all.

yeah the scientist is probally what they are going to play because the video has been non stop on MTV and MTV2. heck Chris Rock even mentions them in the comercial for VMA's so its going to be a blast.

I think that Maynard James Kennan was much better w/Tool than with a Perfect Cricle. i have a question: i heard that somone in perfect was going to team up with other people to create a single for underworld. is that true and whos teaming up with him?

Have any of you ever listen to them. i have been listening to them for god knows how long and still they are at #2 behind Coldplay. the music of S.O.A.D is just as impacting as Coldplays but they have a little extra punch added on. its a grouping of some of best mucians. thier website is http://www.systemofadown.com. check them out

I think That Coldplay has raised the bar for Bands to come the same way the beatles and the Infamous band Tool did.

i had a werid one last week. Chris and Guy walk into a recording studio where they are going to record you only live twice. inside the studio they see the Drummer For Blink 182 Travis, The Singer for System of a Down Serji, and The Guitarist For System of a Down Darron Malaikin and Chris asked them if they wanted to record it with them. they were just about to sit down and record it when i woke up. im not sure if waking up was a good or bad theing because on one hand you get to hear them preform it and on the other hand they are all from very different forms of music and i dont want to see a song like that trashed.

Id love to hear them sing Everlong By The Foo Fighters or Tonight Tonight By Smashing Pumkins. Just for fun id like to hear them do a System of a Down song called Innervision.
