  1. I am liking it. A lot.
  2. Wow. Just...wow. I love the Colors, and the small butterflies are a nice touch as well.
  3. I would want to sing a few songs, maybe have him teach me one on the guitar. Have some coffee, talk about all sorts of things. Honestly I think he is the kind of person I could talk to for hours. Maybe go to the park, walk around, feed the ducks, watch the sunset, just stuff like that.
  4. It is cool to think of it that way, to be a part of history. Coldplay is the first band I have followed from the beginning. Well, I mean since Parachutes came out in the states. So as close to the beginning as I can get anyway. It has been great to watch them grow and become so successful.
  5. :laugh3: They always seem to keep it simple, so I am sure they will come up with something. After such a trademark look, I think it would be good to go back to something more casual.
  6. I don't think it is meant to be the Make Fair Trade symbol. That cover really is lovely. Simple, which is sometimes the way to go.
  7. I think Coldplay will be remembered as one of the great bands of this generation. Mentioning bands liek The Beatles, Pink Floyd, U2, they seem almost untouchable because they are on really such a pedestal. Rightly so, the music is fantastic. I think Coldplay would be comparable, at least in my eyes, to the equivalent of, let's say, a U2 in 20 years time. They have made a definite mark on music. Their sound is one that is all their own, and they have talent that I think has yet to be explorer. I expect even greater things as time goes on. They have become a influence on up and coming bands, and I think that they will continue to grow in influence in that department as well. Who knows how many young people have picked up a guitar, a bass, a drum kit, and all because of Coldplay. I have no fear at all that when I am old, and in a nursing home, I can say I saw one of the most influential bands of music history live. No doubt at all.
  8. Wow, now I had to go listen to "Tangled Up In BLue" LOL. I love that song. Great choices, and you can hear bits and pieces of all of them in their music, which I love a lot. I am loving the poster a lot too.
  9. I think that is cool. I think little things happen here and there just to kind of perk us up, or make us think. So I think if this is something that spoke to you then that is fantastic.
  10. Well no not right now, one cat is named Trekker (The vet named him when they rescued him) and the other cat is Samwise Catgee. I did buy two Webkinz to ride with me in the car to see Coldplay, as I collect them, and thought that might be kinda neat. The Lion is Martin, and the black and white cat is Chris.
  11. A Dominic Monaghan Board, but it is gone now. That was around years ago.
  12. Ones that remind me of certain times in my life, or say things I can not say. Fix You Everything's Not Lost See You Soon Amsterdam ("I'm dead on the surface but I'm screaming underneath" God that kills me every time.) Swallowed in The Sea What If The Scientist Speed of Sound(The imagery is just so intense, but they are sort of happy tears..I know it is kinda weird. ) Now My Feet Won't Touch the Ground Hmm that is all I can think of...
  13. I will have to think on this one. I would think several would link together though. This thread is interesting though.
  14. This song makes me incredibly happy! It reminds me of seeing them live, and the energy that was in the room. It was just...amazing.
  15. This is me right when I got home after seeing Coldplay on Nov 16th of last year. I drove back from Oklahoma City to Tulsa so I was pretty tired. And very, very happy!
  16. Sam you mean? He always looks so smug or cheesed off in pictures. He really is very sweet though :laugh3:
  17. My very first boyfriend ever was ten years older than me. We had plenty in common, but I was very behind him in experience and such. So that made things very awkward. Although had he been a more understanding sort, and less pushy I imagine that would have been less of a problem. I have dated a guy 6 years younger than me. I liked the age difference. We had a lot of fun together. Age though really is not why I went out with either, it just happened to be there. So to me that is a bit how it is. It is something that is there, and a part of what works or doesn't work based on a persons wants and personality.
  18. ^ Thanks. I mean, he is huge, and kinda chubby, and the name suits his personality too. Trekker is really old. 17. When he was younger he was really big and fat too. lol.
