Coldplay on Guitar Hero III is download-only. Unfortunately for those of you who own the Wii version, downloadable content was not made available until World Tour. You'd need the 360 or PS3 versions.

Me too, and I rarely play beyond Medium. :laugh3: I'm not a GH guru. :P I think on my best run, I still missed two notes. It gets you tired easily. I can ace Yellow, GPASUYF, and Violet Hill though.

I was not familiar with Phoenix before, but I decided to buy the album via iTunes since it had so much hype behind it (even Pitchfork raved over it). While I'm still getting used to the feel of their material, I'm liking what I'm hearing. And I definitely second the thoughts about 'Love Like a Sunset'. :)

I love the puppets. Best gimmick the band has had in a while. Guy's puppet still scares me, but I think I'm finally used to the Chris one. :lol: They should really visit Disneyland when they come around to CA. Not on any fast rides, of course. Maybe the monorail. :P

Depends on when The Resistance is released, methinks. Guitar Hero 5 apparently comes out September 1st. E3, the big gaming expo, is held next week so we might get further info then. ;)

Saw this earlier on the official site. Stupid forum user spells "Coldplay" as two words. :veryangry2: I'm thinking 'Talk' or 'In My Place' would be good options. (Also, I'm hoping the Muse song is 'Plug In Baby'. If so, I might never stop playing the game.)

My new co-worker doesn't like Coldplay. :( Sure, we were able to talk about Death Cab for Cutie and Snow Patrol, but still...she says she doesn't like Coldplay. :cry: And as a bit of news, the official website for Guitar Hero 5 just revealed that Coldplay will be in the game, though hasn't revealed which song. Either way, I'm definitely getting it. Heck, Coldplay (and Muse also) is the main reason I stick with Guitar Hero instead of Rock Band, regardless of any other pros or cons. :P

OUCH. My huge condolences to any fans who were so hyped about this gig, especially on such short notice! My biggest hope for these fans is that they truly mean "postponed" and don't change it to "cancelled". Hopefully Chris gets well soon before this happens to another gig! :(

In all seriousness, Angie's #7 is really important. Sometimes you can even be the one to get your part of the crowd going, but if you can't, don't let them get you unenthusiastic. Last time, I was between a couple who wouldn't stop making out instead of watching the band and an overprotective dull-faced family (and in decent seats!), but I sure didn't let that stop me from having a good time.

As awesome as U2 or Muse would be, that strikes me as too much "superstar" action when combined with Coldplay. :lol: I seriously would love to see Doves open for or collaborate with them. :)
