sounds like he's just playing the chords of the melody (like if he sings a C he plays a c chord). try downloading the VLV book (its in here) and learning from that, its very close to what he's doing.

When i called I got sec 127, row 19 which i thought wasn't as good as 124 row 4 so I went with 124. Good thing I did since the other ones were apparently 99 bucks each... ...then again I'm hoping they weren't better than my 124? I've never been there so I have no idea...

Wait, JUST got tickets? How? I was told they were sold out... bastard!! Anyways I'm gettin' up early tomorrow to get my tickets, there was no way i was buying stupid argos tickets. hopefully i wont be in the worst seats possible...

This is the biggest scam going! I CANNOT believe this. I seriously hope that Ticketmaster gets their PANTS sued off... If I don't get tickets because of this crap I'm going to be livid!

Presales are unfair, and its still up in arms the legalities surrounding them (its the promoters and ticket sites that do them NOT the artists... at least according the the boss Bruce Springstein) so I have no problem if they're shitty seats. What I have a problem with is when they SELL OUT during a pre-sale. Thats just not cool. On the plus side of the Skydome (as it SHOULD be called) is that it'll hold lots of people. Perhaps the coldplay sound technicians can make the acoustics suck LESS...

well its a big stadium (a baseball diamond to be exact). If you've never been to one you may not be (though if your used to seeing concerts on TV then you might be when you arrive and cannot see anything and stuff is harder to hear). but its effing coldplay.

I saw them during the twisted logic tour and hated it... however after seeing all their VLV live stuff I decided i simply must see them during this tour. bad acoustics or not. besides my aunts paying so I dont care :P

So I take it no presale? I go on family vacation on the 31st so it'll be pretty hectic it being on the 30th but oh well. so totally worth it (and being at the rogers centre means I'll actually have a chance of getting out of there earlier. the john mayer concert at the amp. this summer took us nearly an hour to get out of it was so crowded)

well they wont be if no one knows when the hell they're going on sale. but im waking up early tomorrow just to be sure. considering know one really knows whats going on though I doubt they'll sell out as quickly. plus no pre-sale... so that helps. plus they'll probably add a last minute second show like they do every year they come to toronto.

it would be really nice if they'd just release sheets for this bloody thing. However did the Viva la Vida book should do another pass. The Paracutes, ROBTDH and even X&Y are damn near IDENTICAL to the album. But viva... not even close. Someone should get chris to come in, decide how to do piano versions of each track and write it up. then we could also have stuff from prospekt (and Lost acoustic)

Is there going to be a presale and if so whats the password. I already got screwed out of Flight of the Conchord tickets last week because they sold out in presale I dont want to get screwed for Coldplay. Anyone know?

is it just me or is the Viva La Vida official book not all that good (especially compared to the previous books). Different key-signatures, different rhythms, and damn near impossible to play along with the originals... anyone know why this might be? are there BETTER versions of everything out there?

Anyone have Karma Police by Radiohead? I have found two versions: one is handwritten and rather hard to read, the second is the guitar/vocal tabs... but as of yet no full piano score. anyone who has it would be my new best friend!
