Sure he's off the mark but there is no reason for you to post that. I agree with RedGirl76, lets get a lock on this thread and pull it out later when inspiration hits in the distant future.

Simon, I think people are on a high from this project maybe when they come out with their next LP people will be more willing to think of projects. Leave well enough alone for now, yeah?

I would love to contribute to any project people on here could put together since I completely missed the mark on this one (Why did it take me so long to look for a coldplay forum?!? WHY? *bangs head*) But, I do agree with Lore that it can't be something forced and it should be unique and different from the postcard sending.

Yeah things do get easily hyped up here, but I'm sure everyone would have been happy with Debs just saying they were delivered and the guys liked them! Anything else is icing on the cake!:)

Are we all watching the same performances? I thought that Radiohead performance was weak at best! I could hardly hear Thom with the band blaring and what I could hear didn't do anything for me...The guitar parts were awesome, yes, but that doesn't make up for the rest of the performance!

*sigh* I was so sure New York would be one of the dates announced on Friday...I see some people on this thread say there is some hope left, but what are the chances it will happen? I mean I don't want to beg my parents to go to Mansfield only for them to wind up coming here anyway, but I don't want to miss the chance to get Mansfield tickets if they definitely aren't! Surely someone from the Coldplay camp could let us know if these are the absolute last North American dates of the Viva tour, right?

I agree. I actually do like Lost! very much and love watching them perform it live (as in the music video) but I don't see it as a song that will have people putting it in their highlight reviews Monday morning. They really needed to pick something that says,"Hey we're Coldplay, we really are the biggest band in the world and this is why." I don't see that happening with this song.:\ I guess we just have to hope that they perform the heck out of it to make up for the lack of power and really engage the audience to get people to remember them at the end of the show.

Im pretty sure nothing could top the announcement of US tour dates for me...even a live dvd! Sure the dvd would be good and all, but I've never been allowed to go to their shows before, so going to their concert would put me on cloud nine for weeks! I'm extremely envious of all of you who have seen them live and I'm positive it must be better than seeing them on tv... Pleeeeease Coldplay don't let me down!
