Yeah really God Put A Smile Upon Your Face makes my top five Coldplay songs, i think, how could you possibly take it off? If any I would probably get rid of A Whisper also if forced to have Murder on there.

They made Guy ugly as the thing that "he would never do" right? Like with Jonny wrecking his guitar and Chris diving into the audience and Will's exploding drums Guy was made to look completely different?

So now Coldplay is supposed to be in Europe July 3rd for Rock Werchter... things aren't looking bright for our American tour guys...

Do they have something against going to concerts? Or something against Coldplay's music? Why exactly do you think they would be disappointed that you want to experience your favorite band live? These are actually questions I had to ask myself before I approached my parents about going to a potential Coldplay concert this year (if they ever announce the dates!). For some reason I thought they wouldn't let me go, but surprisingly they didn't really react. They said ok and that was the end of it. Really, it might just be in your head that they will be "disappointed". If you never behave badly why would they be disappointed in you wanting to try something new? And even if you already got your birthday present suggest it as an early Christmas/Holiday present instead. Or say you will do something in return for the tickets. Do this only if they seem to have a problem with you going and don't ever whine/yell/get angry while asking. Just tell them its important to you and have them see your side. In regards to having someone go with you ask a sibling or cousin. They may not like Coldplay but they may just like going to concerts or music in general. Ask around, you might be surprised. In my case im too young (16) to go alone so my mom and my sister would go with me, but I think at twenty with a friend or family member you would be ok. :) Whatever they say don't give up. If they do say no and have that as the final answer then just be happy knowing that Coldplay will have more CDs and therefore more tours in the future when you will have your own money and can make your own decision.

A little excerpt from the new Jonny interview on coldplay.com "What are you looking forward to most about this year? The stadium gigs, definitely. And going to Australia will be good - it's a long time since we've been there. Are you re-thinking the whole show for the stadium gigs? Yes, probably. I think we'll spend a good chunk of April pondering that. We'll have to do some things differently, I think." Ugh so he IS looking forward to stadium shows, but if they are going to be spending most of April pondering changes to said shows that leaves us with a three month gap for potential US shows. Though I do wonder if they want to release an album at the end of the year into the beginning of next then they might want to just take those months and spend them in the studio. Nevertheless, they need to announce these dates soon or if they aren't coming at all I think they just need to let us know. They must know that we are going crazy!

My Entertainment Weekly magazine has Grammy predictions and they seem to think that while Coldplay doesn't deserve to win anything that they will win record, album, song, and rock album of the year which were the only ones with Coldplay nominated that they mentioned....I don't know why, but the way the author wrote this article it made it seem like a given that they would win.

ahhhhhhh! :stunned: my eyes just popped out of my head and my jaw dropped. Seriously I just stared at that pic for a good minute before my little sister passed behind me and said, "Jenn, what are those guys doing?" and I had to force words out of my mouth to say they are playing music...I don't think she believes me though.

If they don't win anything then something is wrong with the world. As long as they win at least four of the awards they are nominated for then I will be a happy camper. Any less and they will be labeled as robbed and the Grammy voters better watch their backs with all of the angry Coldplayers after them.

Eh, I gave it a five as well. Its not that its bad, no not at all, its just that while cute and funny its not my cup of tea. My sister, however, nearly fell to the floor laughing and told me that it deserves a fifteen out of ten.:rolleyes:

Methinks the Musers have hacked the voting.... how the hell could Chris go from 6.something to 1.02 in less than a day?!? On the other hand, how did Guy get up to 8.0? He's been sitting at 5.68 for a while now...

I hope for their and their children's sake that that is the reason.
