Ok, Lore, I'm here to finish my review of The Killers! Where was I? oh, yes, after "Spaceman", the guys & gal from Chairlft (the opening band) came on stage to make a collaboration of the Church's classic song "Under The Milky Way" [you think I knew this? Noooo, had to see the review :P] The guitarrist from Chairlift [now I know his name is Aaron Pfenning] is very cute :blush: SO I spent most of the song with a wide grin staring at him :D Perhaps Brandon had a chuckle or two if he noticed me staring at Aaron like an idiot :lol: Beautiful song, IMHO, and those who know said the cover was good. DUSTLAND FAIRYTALE comes next! I don''t know how I managed not to cry this song is EPIC, althou it did not sound as epic live cuz the crowd kept screming too much for Brandon's voice to be heard well. Hope it gets here on time, good thing we both live in Florida. the hardest part is to tell my parents I just spent $70 for another concert :P AND to drive me to the stadium (thank God it's like 15 min away) Me :curtain: GO! Even my brother enjoyed the concert, and the only song he knew the lyrics of was The Scientist, which was the one they sang on the C-stage at end of our row :lol:

SPACEMAN!!!!! right after HUMAN! [they seriously wanted to kill me!] What can I say? I fuckin absolutely looooooove this song!!!! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWc-ZUSsTKY]YouTube - The Killers Live! "Spaceman"[/ame] Right @ the beginning, during the "ohoho ohohohooh", I moved my arms up and down like a gogo-girl I guess [i think Brandon noticed cuz he was looking our way from the K/keyboard. OMG!!!!!] I obviously danced and sang like there was no tomorrow!!!! I probably died @2:10, he just came forward so suddenly! :lol:

"Human" came next! We went INSANE! I went INSANE! :freak: Are we human, or are we dancer? I am DANCER!!! I jumped throughout the whole song non-stop. Brandon was waering the jacket, was he? I can't remember well [ok, he did not wear it :( it makes sense thou] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGyJKakAt6s]YouTube - The Killers Live! "Human"[/ame] @0:55 --> where he stands on, that's about where I was! YES, I remember he lifted his leg!!! [Of course, I went bananas when he stood there, screaming my head off]

Speaking of "Bling", I think this was the song where he tried to makes us sing along from the start, but I guess I was not the only one who did not know the lyrics :P I remember Brandon going to the left side of the stage, and kneeling on a speaker, extending his arm to make us sing.....EPIC FAIL! :lol: And he knew it, he kinda laughed while staring down for a bit (SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fuckin' adorable if you ask me!) :kiss: then, he started singing, and then, got to the right side, stepped on a speaker, extended his arm with the mic, NOW he sang a line, and then we sang it, and so on and on. "Shadowplay" --> guy to my left was so excited about this one. I can't remember what I did during this one :whaaat: "Smile like you mean it" --> for this one, he went to the piano further back. The start was soooooo slow, as they were trying to mess with our heads. Crowd started to roar as it recognize the song that was going to be played. People REALLY loved this song, I sang along most of it. Could not help smiling A LOT! [did Brandon made eye contact here? Idk...]

"Bones" --> I listened to this one days before the concert, and I think the lyrics and the video are awesome. I did recognize it when they started playing. the girl to my left went :freak:! Like the girl behind me yelled when Brandon sang "don't you wanna feel my bones?" YESSSSSSSS!!!!!! :laugh3: Gosh, and when he stepped on the speakers in front of us, and DANCED, like moving his hand down his body during the chorus... :bomb: I LOVE this song now! [specially the live version :wink3:] "Losing Touch" ---> I sang along, not much jumping. Tried to snap pics of Ronnie and Mark during this one. Now, Brandon goes to the piano that's further back, and start playing "Joyride" acousticly. He sings "when your chips are down, when highs are low", we screamed back "JOYRIDE!!!" "Bling" --> another song I did not know well. I just absorbed it all.

JOYRIDE! I love this song, it's puts me in such a good mood, and I'm here, listening to it LIVE, with everyone dancing and singing along! GAWD! :dead: "Somebody Told Me" is next (really!? no way!!!!) I scramed to the top of my lungs :lol: [ok, I think he said something about Tampa in the break, but do you think I remember? :P] "For Reasons Unknown" --> admit, I didn't know the lyrics well, so I took out my phone to snap pics [you know, I need proof that I went, and that I was in front row] Ok, I swear, I'm sure Brandon stared at me or at my area at the beginning of the song. Idk, while everyone else around me was singing, I was trying to get a pic of Dave. I felt Brandon's eyes on me as in "why are you not singing?" :rolleyes: I started singing along afterwards, whatever I could catch from the others :P

9:15pm --> The Killers are coming! Kept checking my neighbor's cell phone for the time. Finally, lights go off, people go CRAZY!!! Dave comes on, lights on him! I see... Ronnie! Mark! BRANDON!!!!!!! in front of us!!!!! I cannot believe it, surreal!!!!! :freak:

Waited like one more hour. In the meantime, I sat down in my small spot. The girl to my right did the same, she even took a short nap! [oh, I wish I had asked her her name] Around 8pm, Chairlift (the opening band) shows up, played like 9 songs. They were good! I loved how the singer, she played the cowbell in a couple of songs, and everytime the crowd went wild, LOL!!! Last song they played is their hit, it was featured in an iPod commercial. the lyric goes: "I tried to do handstills for you, I tried to do handstills for youuuuuuuu" Then, an 35 min interlude, where people would scream at whatever as in when the roadie placed the K in front of Brandon's keyboards, or uncovered the drums. Ok, so by 9pm, I started to get really anxious due to (a) OMG I'm SO close to the stage, and I'm seeing Brandon Flowers like 5 feet away!!!! :freak: (b) what if people start pushing!!!? :stunned:

oh, sorry Lore, I was writing on Strawberryfield's wall, she's a Killers fan. Anyway... Where to start? Ok, got to the Sundome (that's the arena at my Uni) around 5pm, and went to the back entrance. There, I found other fans (3) waiting. Turns out most people waited and entered thru the other entrance facing the main avenue. So, by 7pm, when the doors opened, the few of us quickly entered the arena, and ran downstairs like crazy to the floor, AND THEN to the stage. Uffff, a rush of adrenaline! The guy and his girlfriend I waited outside with let me squeeze next to them. Thank God they did because THAT was the center, where Brandon's mic was, and my spot was between the amplifiers, so I saw Ronnie perfectly :D [although I did not realize this until the interlude between the opening band and TK]

BUMP!!!!! I saw The Killers last night! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! They were so freakin' AMAZING!!! 1st time seeing them, and I was blown away. I was in the front row and center :D I loved that they opened with Joyride, and closed with When You Were Young. Brandon was more energetic than I expected, Dave was awesome with his guitar riffs, Mark was steady and cool, and Ronnie (:heart:) played those drums with such passion. I have some pics, but they're terribly shaky, and I took them with my cell phone. I did NOT want to be distracted with taking pics, just sink all of it in. I was not-so-much of a hardcore fan, but now I'm a full convert "Victim" :lol:
