Yeah, I did better on the general sale as well. But I didn't buy anything on the presale though. It's pretty much the same setlist, except that "Life in Technicolor ii" has been added, and I think the acoustic set is with "Green eyes" instead of "The Scientist"

By stalking, do you mean being early at the venue, make posters, have a piece of outfit that's Coldplay or "Viva la Vida" related, meeting other Coldplayers, or waving at the roadies while you hang out around the venue early in the day?

^I'm not going to the Houston concert, but I understand how you feel. I couldn;t go to their Tampa concert back in 2006 b/c I didn't have money. AND had to wait 2 loooong years to see then for the 1st time in Orlando. Took my brother (not fan, assigned driver) and my sister (fan). Totally worth the wait, and I had the luck of being in the section were they sang The Scientist. I didn't expect to see them that close, AMAZING!

^What pissed me off is that NO seats were offered on this section 7 (nor in 4,5, or 6, all of which are tier after the orchestra sections) during the presale. It's sickening :sick: that Live Nation barely (if at all) offer seats on these sections except if you searched for a single ticket :computer: Yeah, it's the cold reality of an unfair ticketsale system :disappointed: For my part, I'm gonna keep bumping this thread, and champion the cause of having most of us meeting early at the Ford Amph. Even if you don't have the best tickets, we can still have tons of fun before the concert: Meet other Coldplayers :gossip: Make posters with messages that only the band and us understand (example: Phil is HOT) :deal2: Dress in Viva La Vida inspired outfits, or at least one thing (i.e. militia jacket, hat, "42" t-shirts, buttlerflies) :flutterby: Wait for the band to arrive to the venue like we're boy-band fans :dance: :laugh3: Hang out at the Hard Rock Hotel :indianchief: (a seminole!) Have yellow glowsticks :sunny:

^^Actually, the Live Nation people would be pissed that I kinda outsmart them :smug: My sis and I are not that far apart, we both have seat #5, but one is on Row H and the other is on Row K. Still sucks a bit though. ^I'm sure some fans will get upgrades. Just try to be there early ;) There's a thread callled "2009 North American presale???" where a member made several posts about how the process is rigged and why. He says he used to work with Ticketmaster, doing auditing, and his arguments are convincing (still hard to swallow at times)

I clicked the link, and yes, the map show a GA pit on the orchestra sections (1,2, &3). There's two possibilities: (a) Live Nation put up the wrong seating chart (b) There will be a GA pit I dunno, why would they have a GA pit and don't have tickets available now? I mean, should fans like us be notified about it? I would have preferred a GA pit, even if I had to queque for hours before the concert. If that was the case, I would want my money back :angry: For last question: yes, there was a GA pit last time they played here. BUT, I still really, really, really doubt there will be one.

^Angst, read several posts made by a member on the Mansfield concert thread. Apparently, he was able to get a refund for tickets that shoudl have been sold to him on the $80 range.

Don't think so, there are seats on those sections in the charts. Apparently, no one got a ticket on Sections 1,2, or 3 I think I have the closest seat here (section 7, row H) :uhoh:

Ooops, I meant to post them in the future :rolleyes: The concert is in August (see my siggy) It was difficult to get a decent $130 seat (because Live Nation shucks), offering Sections 8 and 10 (sort of 200-level) on the presale :whip: BUT I got lucky today and got a seat on Section 7 (sort of 100-level) by Guy's side :D I'll take my brother's camera, which is quite good. He took tons of pics and videos with it at the Orlando concert last November :lol:

So Berrygirl1 wrote on my profile, but I'm not sure what she meant. She wants me to post pics from the Tampa concert? Because I got a seat by Guy's side :wink3: the closest I was able to get on his side. I feel proud :smug:

Yay! I'm happy for you Andi. For being four seats together, those seats are good. Well, I would have gone to the box office of the Ford Amph, but it's a tad away, and didn't feel like driving. :P FAN CLUB!? what "fan club"? :thinking: Us, fans, tried to get tickets, and it was a headache :\ Maybe they'll give us an upgrade for being Coldplayers :lol: Yeah, getting them box office is cheaper. I could have gotten less fees charged.
