  1. Same here! WTF!? Worst of all, now Facebook resembles Twitter, just when I was getting quite comfortable with the now "old" layout :(
  2. I think someone posted about it on the Houston 2008 concert thread EDIT: and that's all I can recall. But I would stick to "showing up early at the venue" and "staying for a while afterwards"
  3. I am more likely to faint by seeing Phil than by seeing the boys :laugh3:
  4. Hi everyone! I should be restarting my computer and reinstalling Office, but that can wait
  5. ^according to my friend who studied her senior year of college at the University of Arizona in Tucson: YES! But that's just her opinion...
  6. ^Whoa! to California? Well, some here are going from the US to the UK. So, it's fine. I hate that Florida is so big, getting out of the state is such a hassle. My biggest hopes for other concerts are Atlanta, North Carolina, and Texas.
  7. ^^Demetri Martin is visiting the university where my sister goes. Of course, I told her to go and take tons of pics :D I would go, but it's on a Tuesday, can't drive back and forth for a total of 4 hours :dozey:
  8. You girls are funny. I am sad I missed out on all that. ALthough I do remember being really excited about Coldplay's new album after 3 long freggin' years
  9. Wait, so if they;re going to the radio station, can fans wait outside or something? Just wondering because I remember that Toronto radio station interview with Guy and Jonny where they had fans inside and outside the studio.
  10. THANKS! :nice: Listening right now!
  11. Oh, ok! :surprised: DON'T KILL THE KITTENS PHIL! LATIN AMERICAN TOURDATES THIS YEAR! :smug:
  12. How can I listen to his show? Is there a link to listen online?
  13. ^"save the kittens"? What's that about? 100 PAGES of Philly !
  14. Yeah, it's very pretty and original :nice: I think it says "sorry you had to go to Arizona"
  15. Same here! :wacky: I think I have only heard one song of hers. I actually like the video for "Love Story," but that's because it has a Jane Austen theme going on  In short, I don't hate her nor like her. More like "meh" :dozey: *now runs away and hides* :curtain:
  16. Yep, that's what I'm hoping to do: volunteer with Oxfam at the West Palm Beach concert :smug: (maybe I could travel to other places, but I don't know if there;s a volunteer limit :uhoh:) I'm Venezuelan too, but I live in Florida. I'm going to the two concerts here. "PHIL IS HOT" :P (ok, that's just me) Be early at the venue.
  17. ^ Oh, Liz! :laugh3: Actually, Guy would love it if you ask him about photography and running. Good topics indded. Gosh, I don't know, I think I'll try to stay cool. I already freaked out / flipped out enough when they sang by my section, by my row, at the concert I went to. So, next time, I'll keep it cool  Oh, and I would ask them "WHERE IS HOT PHIL!!?" :wideeyed:
  18. It is a truth universally acknowledged :D Good explanation! Agreed! If you want to sell them by that price, go to TicketsNow or someplace for scalpers  FYI: the scalper prices for the Tampa show are ridiculous. My seat (section 7, 100-level) is being sold for like $600 :shocked2:
  19. Woo hoo! I'll be on Section 7, Row H. Pretty much by where you will be, but to the opposite side
  20. @dfit00: I wrote a message on your profile about it  [ok, the following is gonna sound like I'm whinning, and I'm probably am] I really, really, really want to go to this concert. I was hoping someone from Tampa Bay would go, so we could carpool and share expenses, but apparently no one is going from here :bigcry: I have money to cover the trip expenses, but I don't wanna break my bank :\ I figured that $$$ can be saved by: (a) carpooling, (b) sharing a hotel room, © volunteering with Oxfam at the concert. If anyone else is planning on traveling to West Palm, please let me know :D
  21. I'm in Central Florida, that counts? :uhoh:
  22. I was there too! (they sang "The Scientist" at the end of my row) :D I'm just saying that they can play a third Florida show. They are going back to some cities they went to last year (i.e. Houston, Dallas, Philly, Atlanta). And since there is another amphithater in Orlando, maybe it would not be too much to ask to have a concert there  I would go to a "B-sides only" concert :wideeyed: I gonna have to bring like a 100 at least. I will be at the end of Section 7 :stunned:
  23. ^Everyone has been complaining when buying tickets on the pre-sale and on the general sale for most concerts because it is pretty much impossible to get a seat or seats in the closest sections, EXCEPT if the venue clearly has a pit area for which tickets are made available. They (Live Nation and TicketMaster) don't make all the tickets available. 1) they don't get all the tickets. Some are distributed among sponsors, top staff at the venues, local radio station sponsoring the band, roadies, etc. 2) Ticket Master has its own scalper site called TicketsNow, along with the other scalpers sites that exist on the web. In regard to Live Nation, they make clear on the 3D seating chart that some sections are VIP seats, that they most likely sell thru VIP packages. I hope I don't sound harsh, just want to let concert-goers know what's going on so they understand why they cannot get close seats.
