So I play high school volleyball. and we're pretty good if i may say so. but the thing is, we have a team of 15 when there's only 6 spots on the court. if you share a position with 3 other people, or even 1 other person you need to deal with not getting the courtime you want. really! gah. my team did win our games though. but there are some people who really can't get over the fact that some people are better then them, and even though they are on the team sometimes they won't be played. a lot of the time they might not even be played. like me for example. i'm a good player. i'm not anything special though. we have one girl who plays the same position as me who is amazing. really amazing. and she's tall, which is usually needed for the position of a middle in volleyball. and i share my position with 3 other girls, one is my twin sister. i know that i won't get much courtime and i accept it. but some girls. especially those graduating (again, like me) think they deserve it more or something. really frustrating. especially since sometimes someone has to volunteer to be linespeople, who do not participate in the game. and they never do because they THINK they might be played. but if it was really that important they would be switched with someone else to go on. so frustrating!! can anyone else relate?

well the 120 is over the whole season. over those days though i don't know how much it was exactly. those days were nice. now we're getting a massive chill. like SO. FUCKING. COLD. -17C without the windchill. with windchill it was about -30C today and yesterday. oh mann. brutal

:cool: thanks they are both so amazing live. unforgettable moments in each. i think i like watching muse more though, because it's so much closer, and more real. coldplay are too big. muse is such a great experience, and a totally different atmosphere. more intimate. although i'd never turn down seeing coldplay again and do my damn hardest to get tickets. :D haha and i like the quote in your sig! i'd add radiohead on there too though.:P

yeah it was really nice. i love walking at night and seeing the snow glitterning, it really looks like millions of diamonds. quite the sight, especially when the snow hasn't been touched. i love freshly fallen snow. we had so much snow this winter. at least 120cm and that's double what we had last year.

hey so the toronto area had a big snowfall the last few days. it took my dad nearly 3 hours to shovel the driveway so he could get to work. here's some pictures i took around the area since it was really nice out. just random scenery things. and snow piles. now a lot of it's really slushy, like the roads. i apologize for any picture sizing issues

umm well right now i'm a student. and i work at loblaws in the bakery. don't want to be there for my whole life. but next year when i enter uni i'm going to study kinesiology. i'm thinking i want to go into some form of athletic therapy, maybe into some form of rehab. pretty broad right now, but hey i'm still young.
