Start Over by Abandoned Pools. Last time I fell in love with a girl, I knew we were gonna break up when I took the train to go back home without her. It was 5am, we were both tired and I couldn't cry even though she didn't want to kiss me. I sat in the bus helplessly and this song popped up in my MP3 player. Since then, this song has been there reminding me of the love I had for her and the feeling of hopelessness I had. But now these days (and my f*cking émo sadness) are long over and the song that takes me back to the summer we spent together has become our fan-favourite...Viva La Vida ^^

One arrived by FedEx the day after the concert (and I wasn't there go get it), one was a replacement ticket I was supposed to fetch at the ticket office but couldn't since I didn't know they were there before returning to France (no international connection on my cellphone) and the third one I got for 80 pounds in front of the O²... Oh well, will get the first one refunded (I hope).

Same here. I just got a nice chord progression like 36 hours ago. I don't give my song more than two weeks of radio airplay for someone to go "Oh man you stole that chord progression!". Oh well I stole it yes. I'm using a capo in 5 (Yellow uses Capo 3) and there is a C->Csus2 and a D->Dsus4 chord progression JUST SOMEHOW like Yellow's A->Asus4->A->E->Esus4->D->Dsus2. Damn it, I'm just a f*cking scam. Plus there's a string ensemble backing the chords, just like in Viva La Vida. I think I should just stop music and send all my songs to Chris Martin so they can release it under their name. And for that crappy screamo thing I made last week around a distortion guitar using an E-power chord, who should I send it to? Van Halen? Metallica? AC/DC? Damn, some artists are really too full of themselves... Like "I invented music"... (Oh yeah, guess that since a lot of the things I made these last two weeks use a bass-sustension technique I saw used on Beck's Loser, do I need to send him everything even if I use a chord-progression I stole from Lenny Kravitz?)

Seen Shaun Of The Dead with my girlfriend (like...24hrs after seeing Simon Pegg live at the O² xD). Loved the movie, already heard a lot of it and the build-up is really nice. Will watch again anytime of the day :)

Oh my god... You gotta be f*cking with my brain... Anywa I can relate, since I saw half one of her boobs in her latest MV, I decided I was gonna date her the day I became a star. Other than that, her music sucks.

Wow, thanks for such kind words, I feel so unworthy ^^; For me, story-telling is an important part of the process. My music-loving grew up with the likes of Nine Inch Nails and my mind got settled on "a concept-album or nothing" and there's nothing I hate more than the "okay guys we have like fifty songs, let's wrap them all into a nice CD and throw dices to decide the track ordering" approach... So for now, all the ideas flowing in my mind revolve around stories and I want my stories to make listeners feel something new, at peace, uneasy, joyful, sad, empathic,... A whole bunch of emotions :) I'm trying to use different instruments so I can get an idea of the way they are played and used into a song. Though not as good as my bassist (who plays guitar better than me, yeah I suck at music), I still try to account for the way each instrument is used so they can be used the better way in each song :)

Guess I'll be there too :) Nine days before my birthday... Isn't that lovely <3

Been there done that :) I even saw you (though you may not particularly remember the blonde guy who was asking you how to leave the O² by walking and stayed with the french groupies stealing him his place of "The only french guy dumb enough to go up to London for 100€ (+200€ for tickets) just to watch Coldplay go live" :p)... Anyway, Camille's flag damn rocks.

The one a nice girl was carrying around which had "Viva la vida" sprayed in black over it :) Didn't want to sell it to me :(

Hmmm... Still learning guitar and vocals, playing a little bass on my "The Best Bassist In The Whole World" 's gear, trying some piano too and a lot of story telling of course. And I don't do just folk, I (try to) go from hip-hop to post-rock :p Thanks :)

Went to the show despite all my bad luck with the tickets (and buses to find my way too z_z). Anyway, got in! Had to buy my way in for 80 pounds but that was okay. Greatest show I've ever seen (and I've been to Nine Inch Nails twice)... Really made me come to tears... Well, best night ever. Even managed to see the most beautiful french flag ever ;)

5:58am in France. Back from my Paris and London trip for 7 hours and listening to music while fooling around with my roomies.
