  1. It's just beginning too. Thanks! :)
  2. Wintersleep - Weighty Ghost
  3. Well then thank god they made that movie, eh? ;)
  4. Who wouldn't? Lol. It's so cute how they put they hand on each others necks. <3 oh boys.
  5. Lol yeah, those commercials were like totally magic. I don't think I even ended up watching the movie. But those commercials gave me chills.
  6. I think it's because of the common thought that Chris is a cocky, arrogant, whiny, douchebag. :P
  7. Me either. I think Guy is an attractive guy. (lol?) But to me he's kind of plain looking. Chris is just sexy, and he has a personality to boot.
  8. Lol. Yeah. The first time through I was like "But, all the songs sound the same!!!" :P I remember Swallowed In The Sea and Fix You really standing out though.
  9. Lol because his squinty eye is just deadly. It makes me wanna jump his bones. :o:laugh3:
  10. That's cool. Yeah, I already had a few songs like Yellow, Clocks etc. But then I remember before X&Y came out, it was like a HUGE deal. And a lot of hype and anticipation And I was pretty curious. So I checked it out. I don't think I loved it right away. But after some listening, I was pretty hooked. :P
  11. Yeah I know. U2 was/is involved with Oxfam. That's why I added the word "seem". I was mostly talking about the uneducated public. You know the "Coldplay are U2/Radiohead wannabes" crowd. People who bashed CP for releasing VH free, cause it was too much like Radiohead's idea. I don't believe U2 is copying CP, no way. But you know, if Bono had teh MTF sign on his hand, and Coldplay released this CD art you know what people would automatically say.
  12. I think the first CP album I downloaded was when I was in grade 7. So I was probably 12-13 also. If I counted right. It was X&Y btw.
  13. Hmm. Yeah. That's also cool to think that we're part of it. You know fans before they hit that huge scale success. And just through it all. With the classic legendary bands, well I'm obviously too young to have been there when they were growing and building up to their huge fame and success. I think that's really great when you think of it that way.
  14. I was actually only 8 years old when Parachutes was released. :P But I dunno. It doesn't matter.
  15. Oh crap. I think I may have broken the link when I awas organizing my photobucket. Lol, it would still work. If you just save the picture and then upload it somewhere else and use it as your sig.
  16. Yup. :) One thing about CP music is that it feels timeless. Like if I hear some grundge band it's like '90s. Or some emo band might be around now. But Coldplay doesn't feel that way to me. Parachutes is nearly a decade old... but would still feel fresh if it was released today.
  17. Lol.. mostly likely. It looks like they are having a laugh at his expense. I wish I could actually speak French so I could do the same. :P
  18. Yeah. I know. I'd still get it though. :P
  19. Yeah. Good points. That's one of the things with those huge scale bands. You don't know how good they're gonna be until they make that album or song or whatever. Also why it's so ridiculous how a new band comes along and people deem them to be future legends and what not. Pure lies. But yeah, I'll keep my hope. :P And it doesn't matter to me anyhow. I'd rather listen to them than Radiohead or U2. Personal preference, right.
  20. Lol I love how in that acceptance speech video. All the French celebrities in the audience or whoever they are. Are smiling... but like whispering to each other. Sounds like they're saying what a goofball he is. Or how pathetic his French is? Or maybe they're saying it's impressive. :P Doesn't look like it though.
  21. Lol :P They can do one though. And it will be a double disc for sure. :p
  22. Yeah, I feel the same as you. And I dunno, I don't foresee them putting out their "Ok Computer" or "Joshua Tree". I mean surely I hope they do, but I have a hard time imagining it. It feels like their career with be full of little successes (each album will sell well etc), but they'll never hit the stride or big album they're striving for. Which is kind of depressing. But I dunno.
  23. I think it matters how many Greatest Hits albums they sell. :p
  24. Yeah. Don't get me wrong. I obviously hope they are you know legendary and everything. And you make a good point about album sales. They have to be doing something right. I think it's just hard to imagine the future. They certainly deserve it though. It's tough though, with everyone upcoming album... the critics think it might "THE big album" that every band seems to have. That a tough thing to put out though. And I don't think they've already done it. A lot of pressure. Lol, poor boys.
  25. Lol hey. Wtf. At least now for once it seems like U2 is copying CP and not the other way around. That's a really nice cover btw.
