So reading U2 by U2, I was at the part of U2's concert in Tempe, Arizona where Bono was getting death threats from racists. And they took one particularly seriously cause the guy told authorities he had a ticket, he had a gun, and if U2 played "Pride," he'd shoot Bono. So Bono is nervous and when he gets to the third verse (Shots ring out...), he just closed his eyes and sung, obviously a bit frightened. Then he opens his eyes after it's over, and Adam is standing right in front of him, willing to take the bullet. I bet nearly all of you already know this, and I'm just really, you know, behind. But I found that so touching and had post about it here. Beautiful.

I didn't think Giraud's was that horrible.

I was just reading about those two in U2 by U2 for the Unforgettable Fire sessions. Anyhow, I hope we get something more acoustic... but I hope it's not along the lines of Death Will Never Conquer or the Dubliners tune they had. Those were too folky.
