  1. Good, so let's go. :D First of all: Great that you've come! :nice: But I don't want to give long speeches and stuff, that's not really appropriated for a party, is it? So we'll start off with Snow Patrols (not very) first music video. :wacky: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pMM283mDwKk]YouTube - Snow Patrol - Ask Me How I Am (Official Music Video)[/ame]
  2. Yeah, kind of. :D Okay, then I'm not your clone. I'm not looking good in cargos anyway. :laugh4: And I can't draw. Maan, I'm far away from being a clone of Chris / you. :stunned: Did you figure out how to get bigger photos with your camera? Or should I use those I've already got? I'm really in the mood to do some collages lately. Sorry. :D
  3. So I'm your clone then? That's pretty confusing ... And you shouldn't have said 'petrol' because now I'm bothering you with my other idea FOR SURE. I should go back working in Photoshop. :P Edit: You still owe me some photos before I can start working, remember. ;)
  4. *dead* Oh my God, that looks so good! :o I haven't expected it to be that great. THANK YOU so much, Nicole!! And of course I can accept the colour 'petrol'. :smug: How couldn't I? :D So you can keep the shirt I sent you. I'm the happiest person now, I'm only wearing three different shirts for the rest of the year. (Reminds me of someone ...)
  5. Thank you! :) Aw, thanks, Kim. :nice: It makes me happy to hear people like what I'm doing. (Since I got a creative arttack last night and made tons of new stuff ... :uhoh:) I know, the questions get harder each round but you know, if they would really have asked for Miriam Kaufmann it would be one of these questions only very few people could answer. To ask whether Martha was the only one they recorded Set Fire To The Third Bar with isn't mean at all. ;)
  6. Elena is right, it's T In The Park. :nice: That's like their 'home' festival. Good night Jen and Imke!
  7. No, I don't think so. It's only Martha. If they are talking about live versions, there's also Miriam Kaufmann, but that would be a pretty mean question in my opinion. :\ You usually wouldn't know things like that. I'd go off now, so if anybody else want to wait with answering I'd try my best to help if any help is needed. If not - I'd be the happiest person on a Saturday if you'd post the questions for me. :) Good night everybody! :nice:
  8. At least I think so. I can't remember another collaboration ... And I think they wouldn't have done any other anyway because Gary especially wrote the song for Martha and for her voice. There wouldn't be a point in recording it with another singer, would there?
  9. Paul is definetely left-handed. He must be. I got all my CDs signed by all the members exept of Paul and all of them were right-handed. So he must be the leftie. :D About Set The Fire To The Third Bar ... I'm not that good in English, so, does 'collaborate' stand for 'recording the song with someone' or 'performing the song with someone'? If it's no. two, they did. If it's no. one, they didn't.
  10. Sooooooooo, anyone requested my help? :)
  11. Yeah, I did it. :nice: But honestly, it's not my best work in my opinion, but I'm glad Giulls likes it. :) Bernard! I didn't talk to you for some days - need to head to your page. :D
  12. Final Straw Chocolate Spitting Games Somewhere A Clock Is Ticking Eyes Open Shut Your Eyes - made me totally fall in love with them when it was released You're All I Have Make This Go One Forever A Hundred Million Suns If There's A Rocket Tie Me To It Please Just Takes These Photos From My Hands Engiens - loveliest chorus I know. :nice:
  13. Agree. There neither is a 'Chris Martin Band' nor a 'Gary Lightbody Band'. Maybe he just said Chris and Snow Patrol because Chris is more famous than Gary and a lot of people would have been like 'Who the hell is this Gary guy?'. Anyway. I understand why they say they liked touring with Kings Of Leon more. Coldplay are so busy and barely have time to hang out with anyone. And if, I guess they'd prefer their families. ;) But so it is. Didn't White Lies tour with Kings Of Leon longer than with Coldplay and Snow Patrol anyway?
  14. Sooooo great that you met Gary! :cheesy: Very well done! I met him (and made a total fool out of me - but it was my friend's fault!) but forgot to take a photo. Seriously. I thought we shouldn't bother him any longer because he already was in his sleeping suit (or what you wear on tour as a sleeping suit :D). So ...
  15. Definetely, it's really cute. :nice: Well, I had luck because I took my best friend with me and she was a real Snow Patrol newbe. So she lend all my CDs for a week before the gig and forgot to give them back to me. She brought them with her to the gig and at first I was annoyed because I thought they might break or get demaged during the concert but they didn't. And in the end I got all my three albums signed by them plus the tourbook I bought. :smug: I got the first two albums later, but I don't care too much because I could have only let Gary and Jonny sign them for they were the only members playing in 'old' and 'new' Snow Patrol. ;)
  16. At my gig the tour buses were parked right infront of the entrance, so ... Try your best and if you don't have to work tomorrow or have to go to school or something you can definetely wait, there's no excuse. :D So better take one of their booklets or a photo of them with you so that they can sign it. :cheesy: And take LOTS of photos! Please. :nice:
  17. They do that almost after every gig. Depends on their timetable and the location but seeing that will be the last concert, I'm pretty sure they'll stay. Gary comes out first to meet the fans so you have a big chance of meeting him. The others ... they tend to stay inside for a bit. If you see the tour buses somewhere and are able to stand near them - do that! The crew is so lovely as well and they tell you if the boys are still there and when they are likely to come out. Good luck on meeting them! :nice:
  18. So do I. :nice: And I'm so making this shirt! :D Maybe I make Nicole making it for me, so that I can actually wear it in public.
  19. It's #13 here but that's gooood for good musicians because most of the music in the German top 10 sucks. :uhoh: So I was right thinking all the limited editons were gone by the second day after the release. :stunned: #1 in Britain is amazing! :nice:
  20. So you took that name? :D My head is aching so badly today and I can't do anything against it. ['cause I'm aching and I know you are too' <- who should be my someone?] But I had to work with petroleum today and I couldn't think of something else but the boys. ;) They'll be home by Thursday!
  21. You're welcome. :nice: And I know it's not mine because I'm never referred to as 'he' Not that I know. I got an idea for yours as well and I'm currently working on it but it won't be that good, I guess. :\
  22. I. Love. It. :stunned: I'd definetely die if I got it, so if that someone doesn't like it - I'll steal it from him. :D The parachutes one is just GENIUS! :stunned: I can't stop staring at it. Seriously.
  23. Just joined as well, if that's okay? :nice: I'll have a closer look on it tomorrow, but I need to go to sleep now. :\ See you!
  24. THe rest of them is from Northern Ireland. Gary and Nathan from Belfast. Gary was raised in/near Bangor, if I remember correctly. So Northern Ireland is definetely right. :) Whohooo, a new fan! Welcome, caeder'schild! Hm ... I would suggest to start with Final Straw and then just follow the timeline. Final Straw -> Eyes Open -> A Hundred Million Suns. When you want more, then check out their first two albums Songs For Polarbears and When It's All Over We Still Have To Clear Up. They are more different from the other three. I love them as well, but I just lost my heart to Snow Patrol including Nathan and Paul as well.
