They were. There are a few pics of them being civil towards each other though ^^ (Ok so Liam drying to de-pants Damon isn't really that civil :P) Although I think the whole rivalry was just something their managers and the media was making into a bunch of hype at the beginning. From what I've read/ watched it seems like Blur really liked Oasis and liked their songs. Damon even said the Brit awards they won for Parklife should of been shared with Oasis. All the Oasis fans will prob. all come in here and hate me, but I think they were just sort of immature about the whole thing. All the stuff Liam said about Damon's girlfriend, Justine I mean obviously when you start throwing around personal stuff, that's going to get under Damon's skin. And then Noel saying he wished Damon would die of aids... :rolleyes:. And in the Blur documentary Damon said it felt like school all over again, like Oasis were the bullies and they just tried to stay out of their way. I just dont like anyone being mean to mah Damo :snobby: Either way, it was all just very stupid and immature. (OK long off topic rant. that should of been in the Blur thread, sorry :P )
