When you beg your partner (who openly hates Coldplay) to let you listen to just one song in the car, and you notice them subconciously tapping their finger to the music, and you smile victoriously to yourself, thinking - "YES! Its working!" And that becomes the highlight of your day, not meeting Brett Lee at the cricket!

Made me laugh out loud in my office, almost blasting my tea at the screen. :D I think them being adventurous, and coming up with new things is the most exciting news I've heard all day! I don't think they'll ever lose sight of who Coldplay essentially is, musically, but a bit of a shake up can only do great things for creativity for the new album. I wish Chris was there to be a part of it, but on the other hand, perhaps its a good thing for now.

Expertly put. But i do think that there is a difference between "getting" the meaning of a lyric, and "getting" Coldplay (Chris). I think thats why so many different people can relate to them at so many different levels, and thats part of their appeal, of course. Chris clearly keeps things ambiguous intentionally, and often will declare songs to be about nonsense (tongue firmly in cheek), in order to keep it that way. I have a feeling that its a select few that actually "get" Coldplay. :escaping:

I agree completely. The photo's are heartwrenching! I know how I feel when my daughter is upset or scared and I promise, it takes all kind of control to not kill whatever it is thats making her feel that way, and especially when its so in your face like these pricks are in Chris' face. :veryangry2: I take my hat off to him for having such control, it cant be easy. He should take them back to the UK, where they belong, they dont seem to be bothered so much there, cos, honestly, no one is really interested.

when you go to buy a pet fish for your daughters room, and you choose the one with the VLV colour scheme, because when you look at it (THE FISH!!!) it warms your heart and reminds you of Chris. *that is so very sad* :worried2:

Does anyone wonder whether Chris gets embarressed or irritated about her sex scenes and her nudeness in movies? Not in a jealous way, but because he's so private, and there she is baring all for all to see. I dont know how I would feel? :confused:

I am a huge Blackadder fan! Its how I first knew Hugh Laurie - and loved him, even now, a hundred years later in House, but still prefer him in Blackadder. Don't really enjoy Rowan Atkinson in anything else but in Blackadder he's awesome! They are sooo funny! Love that humour, even though its not "local is lekker afrikaans boere humour"! British humour all the way!

:laugh3: Photo please!! when you pretend like you have no work to do and spend every moment the boss is not around reading the fanfics, and hope no one sees you smiling, laughing and getting excited by yourself in your office!! and when you get caught by the office cleaner looking at "revealing" pics of Gwyneth from her Two Lovers movie, thinking - so that's what Chris has!! :embarassed:

I completely agree - its so interactive and so much effort is put in to stay in touch with the fans, it really deserves to win! :dance:

I am aware of how the media work. However, it is not only this article, its been a long time coming - its as if she thinks everything revolves around her, if you read between the lines of their relationship and all the past interviews, and quotes et al, its clear she thinks she is the shit! No wonder Chris looks so amazingly happy when he is on tour with his boys compared to when he is just the husband again. NOT SAYING that he does not love his kids and all that stuff, he is an awesome dad it seems- before anyone starts the bashing - just that he is different. :thinking:

I love the way she just kind of announces it non-chalantly - she would like another baby, she this and she that - like Chris has no say in it at all. Needless to say I am angered :angry:

Dont know why but these two make me want to ravish him - it brings forth such animalistic cravings! His back!! I just want to slide my hands up and down it, and over his shoulders! OMG - whats happening.... :bomb:

Definitely a joke - I love how they tried to pull one over on us though, just shows how much they think about us! :D They should know though that their own astute fans will not be fooled!
