Hello all, met Will this morning in Cape Town - what a lovely fellow!! :)

Well, I just need to say that I saw Miller (quick chat) and Phil this morning and met Will in town, had a photo with him and a small chat!! Such a nice guy!! They are leaving Cape Town tomorrow morning for JHB, enjoy it! The concert was awesome!! Anyone on here that was standing in the golden circle que from early on Wednesday meet a guy called Doug? Would love to chat to him now that he's seen them, and find out his views!!

So wishes do come true and prayers do get answered. I cant believe they are finally coming, I am so excited and going to be there with bells on!! :lol:

To answer your questions, in my mind, there sadly seems to be shift from what started out just after he was released as a hopeful outlook towards putting the past behind us, and living as one nation, to the realisation that we have a lot of issues to work through, and racial separation and competition will still be rife, as long as we hold onto the past. When I said he came out of prison with a heart of forgiveness, I did not mean that he was sorry for what he did, I meant that he held no grudges against the white people and instead of taking revenge, he worked to unify us. Can you imagine, a man who fought for freedom, jailed for a lifetime for that and then rising to power and saying lets put it all behind us and be one. He must be so sad that everything he put his life on the line for, and all the effort he put into making this country incredible is being torn apart by the very political party that he helped to put on the map! A party that is riddled with fat cats and corruption, bent on making the white people pay. Not cool!! :\

Interesting, its a joke how little educated you all are about South Africa and its history, yet here it is, being discussed as though any of you have a clue about the apartheid era, the atrocities of the government of the day, and people like Mandela. As a white South African, sure, I was fearful of what would happen when Mandela was released, but he came out of prison with a heart filled with forgiveness and united a nation. The fact that his dream of an equal nation is presently being shattered every day by the very people that fought so hard for, and brought into power, is now South Africa's current atrocity! Reverse racism and corruption have hailed again, as Mandela legacy slowly starts to fade!!

Help please Coldplayers, I was watching Ugly Betty last night, it was the episode where they have a Christmas/Hannuka dinner and both girls thought they were pregnant, if you know it please answer this: the closing song was "Have yourself a merry little christmas" and I could swear that it was being sung by Chris, even though it was hard to hear it, I could not mistake that unmistakable voice, am I right????

:) My Coldplay love is extremely deep, perhaps fatally so. I only listen to their music, spend the majority of each and every day on this and other dedicated sites, and think about Chris all the time...when I put it down in words, it sounds sad and ridiculous. My partner looked at me the other day with a hint of fear and said "you could be a stalker"....if only you knew, I thought! Basically, there is not one day that goes by that I dont surround myself in them.

They are my absolute favourite - I don't listen to anything else at the moment, haven't for 4 months now - not one other band! Edit: Although from listening to AROBTTH so much, I am starting to get a Radiohead urge again, which takes me back to my twenties! Hectic!

:D Ol' Roadie's blogs are always such a pleasure to read - but does anyone know what he does when the band is not touring - I mean, when this tour ends, does that mean the end of Miller blogs too? That will be sad, what will I read then?
