Album of the Year is for an entire album, but Record of the Year is just for one song. The latter is not to be confused with Song of the Year, though, which is an award that is more geared toward songwriting.

Still a shot to finish over .500 for the night. And it's the biggest award of them all- Album of the Year.

60 Minutes is a show that would usually put me to sleep. Not this Sunday... you better believe I'll be watching. :D Chris Martin is an amazing man. :lol:

For those of you saying that this was a letdown, keep in mind that there were people like me that were heartbroken that Coldplay didn't play a show near them the first time around. So for us, this news couldn't be any bigger. :)

I think this is a good enough excuse for me to finally come out of lurking. :D At last, at last! I can't tell you how devastated I was when they snubbed me on the original leg of the tour. I was just certain they'd be here. So I held out hope that they'd stop by later in the year to possibly promote the new album, and sure enough, it's happening! The only bad thing is that it's so far away... exactly half a year until the big night. But at the same time, that's not so bad, because I'll be living in the Raleigh area by that point. Man, this has just made my day. If all goes according to plan, me and my girlfriend will be there along with my friend who likes Coldplay just as much as I do. I can't wait to finally see Coldplay in person! Oh, by the way... my name's Jordan. Pleased to meet you guys. :)
