yea that was a pretty bad performance. but its hard for them because they are under such pressure and may be nervous and perform crappy. stupid american judge, kelly clarkson really isn't so great.

nope not a series a psychological thriller was what they described it as.

the canadian judge was trying hard to outwit simon (i think) and was acting childish, however i deteste simon cowell so much and i don't think his criticisms are very constructive and he most likes to hear the sound of his own voice more than anything else :rolleyes:

i agree, the film would have been better with lesser known actors that put on excellent performances. it was towards the end of the film where i was hit with "this is kinda stupid". anyone notice tori amos performing in the wedding??

It's a film that was released in 2001 but a very small release. It was actually ranked in imdb.com's top 100 films of all time.

CHRISTmas a christian holiday, even though there are some non-christian that exchange presents it is a christian holiday and not everyone in the world celebrates it.

i saw this movie last night and it was alright. i liked the movie until it got to a certain point where i felt like it was trying to hard to prove their point, whatever it was. films are best when it appears to be effortless (if that is possible) and i didn't feel that in this film. i felt like this was trying to be a popular ($$$wise) movie with a relatively famous cast. :/

Yea the girl from Poland wasn't very good in my opinion. I think Guy has the potential of winning it. I thought the best performances of the night were: Ryan Malcolm (Canada), Guy Sebastian (Australia), Kurt Nilsen (Norway), & Peter Evrard (Belgium). I had to look up their names on the website ;)

I wanted to vote for him but I didn't know there was only a two hour period when you could vote for the contestant so i missed my opportunity. My favourite is the Polish judge, god that guy is hysterical!

i just watched it today and i really really liked it a lot. i need to watch it again to get all the parts i missed but this was really well made. i can't understand why i'd never heard of this movie when it was released?!

dunno if somebody has made a thread or not but who watched it?? it was so good! i am very excited for the finale on december 31st. i thought our canadian Ryan Malcolm performed quite well, but he won't win the competition. fucking kelly clarkson annoyed me like always. i liked the guy who covered lithium by nirvana. any thoughts?

well it's 1:35am and i want to sleep soon but am pretty wide awake so it won't be happening any time soon
