Just heard it... wowwwww! Totally agree with all the comments so far. Has a real classic sound about it. Also agree it has a real feel of bowie about it, for me more so than pink floyd, but then that could be the spacey strings and the magical guitar work from Jonny. I wonder if the EP is going to be an excerpt from the album, in which case surely this track has to feature, or if it's like a bonus extra to it, in which case i'm excited about the songs we haven't yet heard. Such a shame about the studio version of MM. Grrr! Damn you Eno!! I know, I know - let it go! Either way this track is a great example of a new direction with classic sound for me. 10.

agree with the major-ity of posts so far! (see what I did there!) - Live version p*sses all over the studio one. Really not a fan of the studio one at all. Studio F mInus!! Live - A+ = overall score for the song of 8.. Don't let Eno tinker with the good stuff boys!! We really don't want to hear news in a few years that you're writing the music for Twilight - the musical!! Leave that dirge stuff to U2 please!

finally saw Black Swan last night, really quite something 9/10 I haven't seen all the other female perfs that are up for best actress but surely Natalie Portman must take it for the role of Nina. She made me feel uncomfortable for the whole thing. Stunning.

Eclipse: 1/10 - i don't think i have ever come out of the cinema so utterly annoyed with the crap that was shown on the screen. Wife promised me it would good as it had some cool fight scenes in the book. She was almost as disappointed as me. Never wanted to ask for a refund as much in my life. The only 1 point was the actor that played Jasper was pretty good and some of the Cullens were good. Of course i'm not counting R Pats in that tho! My turn next : Bring on Inception i cannot wait!

I'm back! feet aching, throat sore, eyes red raw - but what an effing awesome gig! GA were plain awful - Sarah was definately on something, very reminiscent of Robbie pre: the Leaving Take That" announcement (hmmm i wonder...) anyway everything else was fantastic. Generally speaking i think the sound quality at Wembley Stadium is not the best, but it didn't spoil it for me. Jay Z was fab. Totally worked the crowd up into a frenzy - I loved the new song from Blueprint 3 as well, "New York" - female singer that does the vocal on that had an amazing voice. Then before you know it the sound of the classical music build up, the stage cuts to black out and we're off to the sounds of LIT. The sell out crowd are then given a whistle stop tour of 26 examples of a band at the top of their game. Then before you know it's over. The fireworks are exploding overhead, we return full circle (well almost) to LITii and the boys then play their final number. and. In the end. we lie awake and we dream of making our escape... Let's hope they don't escape just yet eh folks :) 159 gigs on and the VLV Tour is at an end. Will, Johnny, Guy & Chris I hope you have a fantastic and well earned holiday. I do like topman or at least want to like them, but i never quite get to the tills if you know what i mean. Am more of a River Island guy myself. I just think its annoying when those "fashion" mags reccomend the most expensive things like if we can afford a £4 mag then we can afford a £600 coat! Also there's plenty of fashionistas for the girls but we don't even get one do we! I'm not saying we need a Gok or anything (however much i find myself watching his tv progs) but i do think that the fashion advice could do with being a bit more equal genderwise. plus p.s - Si 42 - pleased that theres another Whovian excited about Mr Smiths arrival. Yo CPing-ers. Happy New Year! Want some advice from you. As it's the new year i'm looking to refresh parts of my wardrobe. i'm looking for a decent website that offers realistic fashion advice for men, could be uk or other (english language though), but basically i don't want a site thats going to reccomend i buy a £600 coat - a la GQ, FHM <insert other mens "fashion" magazine here> etc. I'm not on £100k a year (or even close to it!) therefore i cannot and probably will not ever want to spend £600 on a coat! Something aimed at the savvy budgethead, that also wants to look good. Anyone got any suggestions? Coldplay fans are not only the best looking, but i'm certain the best dressed as well! Cheers!

It's almost time to upgrade my phone, currently a Nokia N95-1. Don't want to spend a fortune (the fiancee would rather it was put towards the wedding! ;) ) but would like a decent upgrade to my N95. I'm with t-mobile at the moment and was due an upgrade in sept, but as there wasn't a phone i wanted and i didn't want to pay £140 for an N96, i decided to go for a loyalty discount on my line. A few months on and i'm getting itchy fingers. Any suggestions from those of you that have moved from a N95 to another brand, or even another Nokia. Or comments on what you would do - all greatly appreciated. Thanks you lot

Really? I thought the the crowd were pretty good IMO, we were all up on our feet in 110! I couldn't see anyone sitting down at all tbh. Plus loved the wooah ohhh's all the way out the arena, in the queues to get in the tube station and then on the platforms! Also the woman on the tannoy (sp?!) system on the tube was hilarious. Talking about if the two men running up the wrong side of the escalator hurt themselves they wouldn't help them, but if they hurt anyone else they would be liable! Brilliant! lol
