They all went to the VIP packages or scalpers. I got great seats for Seattle in the AMEX presale, but nothing good was popping up for Portland - presale or general sale. I'm waiting until closer to the date for that show for when they release tickets. If all those VIP seats don't sell, they'll release them.

Mine's in Dallas, so hopefully that means I get it tomorrow! :dance:

Those should be decent seats Angie, given the X stage comes out so far! :thumbsup: But yeah, the floor is so hit and miss.

I think it depends on location and the shipping speed chosen. I only did the $5 shipping (as I was spending enough as it is on the damn thing!) so I don't expect to get it until next week. I am patient though... :rolleyes:

They updated the seating chart on Ticketmaster and that shows the X-stage, so it's still there!

Yeah, that's what I always aim for, and I'm usually lucky. I got front row aisle in what would be the equivalent of section 119 on this chart for the Seattle show, and I'm very pleased. So it is possible. That was the AMEX presale though.

Yeah, I was checking out the Portland tickets for VIP since I'm going to that one alone. While they are excellent seats, I just can't justify $280 for it. The 'extras' are cool and all, but ultimately not worth the extra cost to me. I'll just have my MX pop-up as my limited edition souvenir for this era! :lol: I think I'm just going to get a cheap seat in the back upper levels facing the stage for $50 since I have awesome seats on the side of the stage in Seattle. That way, I get both perspectives without going broke and get to show off my amazing seat-getting skills to my friend going with me! :sneaky:

For arena tours, definitely the 100s to the side of the stage - unless you can bag the first few rows of floor. Even though you get a mostly side view and don't see the stage face-on, you are so much closer to the band. If you can get the first few rows of the section that is almost literally on the side of the stage, even better! I've done that before and that's what I was lucky enough to get for the Seattle show this year (but 1st row, so even better!). It's like you are there on stage with the band and when they come to the sides, they are literally in front of you - sooooo close! Plus, this year, you'll get a great view of all the glowing wristbands around the arena! :thumbsup:

Um, pop = popular, so yes, I guess they are a 'pop' group - just with some rock thrown in for good measure. :thumbsup:

Preferred is supposed to be only for gold. platinum, etc. AMEX cardholders. All the rest are under the regular AMEX presale. However, I have in the past cheated and gotten the 'preferred' seats by entering one the customer service numbers (try 8003272177). However, the tickets I got today for Seattle were from the regular AMEX presale and were WAY better (front row aisle next to the stage) than the ones being offered in the preferred AMEX presale (mid-way up lower level sections). It pays to check both! :thumbsup:

Anyone find any decent tickets in the presale? They all looked crap to me, so hopefully the general sale will be better! If not, I'll probably go to one of the Vancouver shows...

Yeah, I saw section 105 row 2 seats 1 and 2, which is almost the same as the ones I got in 2008. They were fantastic seats (see my avi!). I was checking to see what kind of seats they might release, even though I won't be going to Houston this year. Got similar seats to that in Seattle, except front row, so super happy with the presale! :thumbsup:

SO excited! I got front row aisle seats right next to the stage for the Seattle show! :D I kept pulling up crap seats, but suddenly those came up and I grabbed them as getting two together in a decent place was hard enough and I doubt I can do any better than these (bar the first few rows of floor). To think I almost gave up too! It was $130 a ticket, which is freaking crazy!!! :mad: Portland I didn't have the same luck - they were all crap. I'm waiting for general on that one as it's just me going. Hopefully that will be to my benefit ticket-wise! I was concentrating more on Seattle as I needed two tix.
