I don't want it to be Princess of China!! :bigcry: I just feel that following the first two singles it gives the wrong idea of the album as a whole. I mean, other than those three tracks, the album is not quite as 'poppy' :lol: Isn't the point of singles to lure in those who haven't got the album and therefore represent the whole album? There are a variety of styles of songs on the album and I just feel those three tracks are all too similar.

I guess the promo is paying off here in the States, as MX is now #1 on iTunes again.

I think Paradise made a good single, just not following ETIAW - they seem too similar to me. That's why I'm praying that PoC is not next. I feel those three songs totally misrepresent the album as a whole - they are just the most commercial songs. Plus I still feel ETIAW didn't need to be a single. It's an ok song, but Paradise is better overall and really grows on you. Charlie Brown should have been the first single, then Paradise...

I was watching 'Parks and Recreation' and during the ads, they showed Emma Stone with the boys. Emma said she was so excited and extended her hand to Chris and Chris did the 'pull-away-hand-fingers-in-hair' move (don't know how else to describe it) :lol: Emma said 'that was cold' and Chris replied "yeah, we're Coldplay!" :awesome: Can't wait for Saturday!! :thumbsup:

Well the 'Stripped' version is the closest thing to a studio version. That's the one I keep on my iPod! :awesome:

I SOOOO hope that is true. They need a little less poppy song for the next single. After ETIAW and Paradise, POC would be too much of the same sound. Those are the three poppiest tracks on the album, so they need something a bit different to correctly portray the album to the public who haven't bought it yet!
