I was hoping Toronto, Canada would be included in this promo tour. There's enough time between New York and LA.. I would really like to catch one of these smaller shows.

30 seconds into the itunes gig I thought this could be the opening track it just has that feel, glad it turned out that way. Can't stop listening to it.

The excitement is huge for me. I wasn't sure how I felt about Midnight/Magic at first. I listened to Midnight a few times to wrap my head around it but wasn't sure if I succeeded and Magic I only listened to once. The itunes gig is what opened my ears to the new songs and sold me completely. I think some songs need to be experienced live (in this case streaming in hd with surround sound hooked up and turned up) Following the gig I couldn't stop listening to all four tracks. To me they have the perfect mix of old and new Coldplay. The band sounded great and Chris' voice was perfect. I love the stadium shows however it was nice seeing Chris not having to run around a huge stadium and get tired. They all looked right at home and peaceful you'd never know they had been hard at work making what sounds like another masterpiece. Can't wait to see this NBC concert/DVD/Jools and hear the full album.

I think the lines from Magic "and I just got broken/broken into two/still I call it magic/when i'm next to you" make that connection and are very direct. My body moves/Goes where I will/But though I try my heart stays still/It never moves from Always in my Head. The title also stands out. That aside, I wonder what Chris will do for any interviews/press for the album? I can imagine he will be asked all the time about the albums apparent connection to his divorce. That won't go over too well.. Hopefully they can respect his wishes and talk about the music and the few live shows.

Only reason I was worried was because we have been told before there would be a dvd and we got nothing. Hopefully them writing it on the wristbands is enough to guarantee it happening. At this point i'm hoping for the best. I just want some info on it, and then maybe a trailer in a month or so and dvd/blu ray contents soon after.

Any news on the film? I don't want it to be scrapped, I just need a sign. I really want to see Coldplay on Blu Ray.

Thanks, I will definitely bring mine now. I got a ticket behind the stage so hopefully they won't bother me. Especially if you got in with one on the floor I should have no problems...hopefully

Did anyone try to go in with a DSLR with a lens that did not exceed 75mm? I want to but i'm worried I might have problems. I just want a nice wide angle shot of the wristbands lit up and my lens is 16-35mm soo i'm hoping ill be ok.

maybe ill try to go in with a massive glastonbury like flag and maybe I might stand out haha

Where were you sitting when they came to give upgrades? Sounds like alot of fun I'm glad you got to see them upclose.. What a great experience!

I'm really disappointed that I couldn't find a decent ticket for either of the ACC shows. I saw Coldplay 4 times during the VLV tour (ACC, Skydome, and both nights at Wembley) yes I flew from Toronto to London and got GA floor right next to the stage both nights in front of Chris and somehow I can't even get 1 ticket for either night in my own hometown. I even tried at 10am the day the went on sale might I add. Yet somehow ticketthieves.com (not an actual site but you get my drift) can have loads of floor/decent upper level seats at 3 times face value. If they actually film here I'm going to feel even worse, that's something I've always wanted to be a part of not just because I'm a Coldplay fan but also because it's what I did in college Broadcast live events, film, concert photography. I'm going to try on Monday and Tuesday to see if I can find a ticket for sale from someone, wish me luck! Looking for floor tickets in Toronto, either 1 or 2 doesn't really matter. Msg me if you have anything please. Will consider the Montreal show as well so feel free to msg if you have tickets for tht show as well. Decent floor/or upper level seats close to the stage.

I know they dont have it playing in Toronto either, our PBS is showing a symphony orchestra from 11-12am. I've been checking other channels as well but nothing.. At the least im sure it will be recorded and uploaded online in HD so we could see it tomorrow.

Ughh I got no tickets and I'm definitely not paying more then face value. I want to fight all those people on ebay reselling tickets for insane prices they annoy me.

Well U2 streamed their concert in California live on YouTube for the world and then released a Blu-Ray of it. They cleaned up the edit obviously to make it look more professional and with HD quality picture and sound it became the biggest selling concert blu ray out there.

I like the background music and Chris was fine but his part was so short. The lyrics work for Rhianna but I'm just not feeling it she has too big of a role in this song. I really hope the album does great because I like Coldplay but it must be said..when I buy a Coldplay record I want to hear Coldplay not someone else. Be it Rhianna or whoever so I don't have a grudge..just saying.

The show was amazing! I was there before the soundcheck then after they moved us all to the opposite side of the street I left to buy a hat because I was getting soaked. I came back and waited around for about 2 hours and something said to me ask the security guard about wristbands. I asked if this is where the wristbanders were *just to be safe* thats when he said they are already inside these people don't have wristbands... WTFFF this whole time I waited thinking those were Rogers people. I was annoyed as you could imagine..the people in front of me were saying I wonder what song they will play first. Being a pretty big fan and seeing all the live streams and whatnot I knew it it was Hurts Like Heaven. It was really annoying to be at the very back infront of the cameras. I lived. I figured that might have happened to others and they might not have made it inside at all. also on a side note I met Liam Gallagher right around the corner hours earlier :D I came back and the show recorded and it was an amazing day so i'm still happy. Glad everyone enjoyed the show! One last thing being at the very back alot of people were jumping for Charlie Brown. The crowd was loving it and from those over head shots I saw after there was a hell of alot of people.

If wristbanders are on the street I don't see why we can't bring a DSLR... Im dying to take some shots during the show.
