:freak: I don't know if you guys realize exactly how much you've made my life right now as I'm reading these. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! :cheesy: First, I am über glad my accent is only, as you guys say, "subtle." As I mentioned earlier in this conversation, I've worked really hard over the course of my life to ensure that I didn't sound so southern that I sounded ignorant or uneducated. From what you guys are saying, I sound Texan enough to be classified as Texan, but tastefully so. I've reached a goal. YAY. :wacky: I'm more happy about the compliments on my horn playing. I listened to my recording earlier. God, I sounded so nervous. :lol: It pleases me to know I've made people so pleased with it. In fact, I feel inspired. If I had a webcam, I would totally post covers on YouTube like I know a few other people in the WoM do. I wouldn't even just limit myself to horn. I'd play several other things, too, like piano and flute and all sorts of things. OMG I CAN'T EVEN. :dead: Musers, I love you. For real. HUGS FOR EVERYONE. :hug:

Good news, everyone. My Music Form and Analysis test was relatively painless. It was tedious, but easy. The best part is, despite arriving five minutes late, I was the third person to finish. :awesome:

I've really made some improvements on my flute playing. YAY. Also, I've come to the realization that for some reason, I'm highly attracted to Blake Shelton. He's hawt. :wreck: I blame my newfound obsession with "The Voice."

I'd do it now, but my Internet is slow, and it's late, and I have a final that I should have studied for, but haven't because I'm a horrible procrastinator. :3 Oh, and there's a surprise intro. I'll try to work on my list Thursday. I'd do it tonight or tomorrow, but I have finals to study for, and the one I have tomorrow is content-heavy, and I really need to put that first.

I think I'm going to use Audacity and a USB mic to record something, then convert it to an mp3 and post it. If that doesn't work, I'll just use the recorder on my mp3 player and do the same thing.

Actually, that doesn't sound like a bad plan. What all should we say?

Well, I've been told by other people that it's really not there-which, given how much effort I put into pronouncing words properly, I should hope not. It tends to come out prominently only when I'm in a situation when I'm too concerned with something else to consciously think about how I speak. I actually had a friend of mine tell me I sound like "a Northern hick"...whatever that means. :wtf: At any rate, I don't sound NEARLY as bad as my parents do. -shakes head-
