If it's officially done and mastered, I definitely think we'll see the album out in spring. There'd be no point holding off the release until June.

Hurts
Kelly! You're seeing Hurts again? :cheesy: That's so exciting. I hope you have an amazing time. Enjoy it extra for your American friends who can't see them just yet.

That sounds like a good sign. Thanks for sharing, Will.

whats you fav coldplay song and why?
"Swallowed in the Sea," no question. I can't really explain why. It just struck me in a surreal way the first time I heard it. It's incredibly beautiful.

Fleet Foxes
NME predicts it'll be released sometime in the spring/summer, and that in itself is reasonable, as there were talks of the album being out last year. (Even though, frankly, they were highly misleading.) As far as I can tell, they're well on their way to completion, so I don't think we'll have to wait too much longer for it.

^ Nice! "Affair"-Hurts

Alright, sounds reasonable. Just because I'm impatient, I'm hoping it'll come out in the spring, like late April or May.

Susanne Sundfør
Nice choices. :nice: My first song was actually "Father Father." It serves a great role as the album closer.

Wow, that's dumb. :| I mean, not iTunes, but the fact they don't have the most recent album of hers there. Hey, that would be great, Andy! Thank you very much. :nice:

So, I'm considering RADIOHEAD
Massive multi-quote time! The forum is exactly how I got started into Radiohead fandom as well. I saw everyone talking about the band, and I thought, "Who is Radiohead, and why does everyone think they're so great?" I went to investigate for myself. I ended up downloading four of the LPs ("The Bends," "OK Computer," "Amnesiac," and "In Rainbows") all at once. Radiohead basically became my soundtrack for the summer of 2009, I was listening to them so much. Jesus Christ. :freak: Today, Radiohead is one of my favorite bands. I have all the albums, almost all the B-sides, and even have Thom Yorke's solo album. (Frankly, it isn't as good as Radiohead in general, but it's an enjoyable listen.) I think this forum's perception of Radiohead served as a huge turning point in terms of the type of music I listen to now. I don't really know what to tell you in terms of albums. I'd just go with what everyone else has told you, because I kinda went on a crazy Radiohead spree when I myself got into them. In terms of fandom...it's definitely on the upper end of the scale, but I find it hard to designate a number. I'm not a 10, though. That number is reserved for people like Mike. When I first listened, I remember thinking that Thom sometimes sounded like he was drunk because I couldn't understand him, and he kinda sounded like he was slurring to me. Wow, we have a totally different view on Radiohead. I actually rather enjoy "The Bends," and I found it much more difficult to get into "Kid A" than "Amnesiac." I've found out that "Kid A" is definitely one of those albums that you have to listen to multiple times in order to fully appreciate it for what it is. "HOW I MADE MY MILLIONS." Sorry, I just really love that song to bits. :wacky: It's really weird that I do, since it uses an out-of-tune piano, and I usually am severely irritated by such things. Those. They're far from techno. "Idioteque" kinda sounds like it, but not really. It's mainly the beat that gives it that slight feel. Yeah, The Script! -highfive- Your kids aren't as bad as my parents. They just call them what they call the vast majority of my music: garbage. :dozey: :cheesy: I'm glad you're enjoying it so far. :nice:

Any predictions for when the album might be out this year?

Hurts
"The Courage of Others" by Midlake. I just love the feel of the album. Very folky and cozy. They're from Denton, Texas, which is a bonus for me. :awesome:

Which ones did you listen to, Kelsie?

Albums of the Year 2010 - Counting Down!
NOOOOOOO. D: Nah, it's not that big of a deal. I had "High Violet" at #1 and "The Suburbs" at #2, and I had a feeling "The Suburbs" was gonna take the whole enchilada. I just love love LOVE "High Violet," though. A few other things: 1. I'm surprised Kanye's album didn't rank higher, from all the hype I saw. I myself put it in the lowest tier of my list, so ehhh. 2. Vampire Weekend at #3? Really? :wtf: 3. Jónsi and Sufjan fared quite well. Sufjan actually went #6 when I had him at #7. I'm pleased with this. :nice:

She has a thread. SHE HAS A THREAD. :surprised: "The Brothel" is an all-around excellent album. I wish I knew a way to find her other two albums.

I've never made a website, so I really wouldn't know about that. For the most part, I don't even think you CAN make a website for free. You go to a site like GoDaddy.com, and you pay a monthly fee to keep a domain name. I'm not positive, though. You might wanna do a bit of research on that front.

Cut Copy
I think I'm gonna freshen up on the older stuff a little bit before I take a gander at the new album.
